The beach bars had a great vibe. The cost of living was comparable to other European countries, not cheap but not expensive either. However, finding a parking spot was a bit difficult because it was full. So, we chose to stay close to the beach, parked at our accommodation, and walked instead 😂

This is the best beach in Makarska Riviera. Not exposed to the direct sea means that the water is very calm. Beach is quite long so you can find a nice place. Trees are giving a lot of shade. Water is clear, perfect for snorkeling especially around Brela rock. High chance to see very wide underwater life including fish, starfish, jellyfish. Really nice Beach with clear water. Scenery is amazing. No sand, just pebbles. Difficult to park during high season, we arrived around 4 PM and found a space along the road. Suggestion would be to come after 5-6PM, as the sun is not that strong during August and people start leaving.
