Pae Dat Hot Spring is located in Pae Dat Village, approximately 65 miles to the southeast of Dawei. Visitors can reach the site via the Dawei–Myeik Highway. This natural hot spring features steaming pools of hot water, with some springs bubbling up through rocks and stones like small fountains. The rising steam and unique geological formations create a fascinating and picturesque landscape. Near the hot spring, visitors can find a small Karen people village where residents make their living through orchard and plantation farming. The charming houses, built from wood, bamboo, and thatch, reflect the traditional lifestyle and architectural style of the Karen community. Within the hot spring compound, there is also a peaceful meditation retreat center established by the Pae Dat Hot Spring Sayadaw (Buddhist monk). This serene environment offers a quiet place for meditation and spiritual reflection. One of the most remarkable features of the area is the Pae Dat Creek, whose crystal-clear water has a beautiful light turquoise-green color. This distinctive appearance is believed to result from the pristine forest environment and the mineral-rich water flowing from the hot spring. In addition, visitors can enjoy walking across an exciting suspension bridge built in 2014, which provides easier access to the hot spring while offering scenic views of the surrounding landscape. It is a temple that goes with the city of Dawei, located in the center of the city. It is an important landmark if you come to Dawei and is one of the sacred temples of the Myanmar people. Inside the temple, there is a large golden pagoda containing the relics of the Buddha. Inside the chapel, there is a sacred Buddha image, Lokamar Chinna, in the Mara-Vijaya posture, which is over 140 years old. Phaya Chi Museum, see antiques, old Buddha images, at night, the lights are bright and beautiful.
