Tokushima Naruto Whirlpool is a must-visit natural wonder in Shikoku! 😳🌊 It is recommended that before you go, be sure to check the online tide time, with the high and low tide to see, the visual impact straight line UP! Now go to Naruto Whirlpool, there are two main ways to play: 1️⃣ Take a tide-watching boat to feel the power of the giant waves and vortex at a very close distance 🌪️🛳️ 2️⃣ Or like I chose to walk the vortex this time - the glass walkway on the lower level of Naruto Bridge, overlooking the spectacular whirlpool 45 meters from the ground! The trail is challenging to walk down and have strong winds blowing all the time! Every 100 meters there are large glass windows for you to look down at the sea. It feels like you are watching small boats fighting a tough battle. But in fact, the tide-watching boats are very safe and will not capsize - rest assured to play! ⛴️ The whole phenomenon actually stems from the time difference between the tide level in the Seto Inland Sea and Kii Waterway, so come to the lower level of the bridge, take pictures and check in basic designated movements! The best part is that some places also have super giant floor-to-ceiling glass, so you can take pictures with the whirlpool and the Seto Inland Sea📸🤳. Located in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture. After viewing the Naruto whirlpools, I stopped by Sumizu, an izakaya in Naruto, around 3 PM. It's close to the station and easy to enter. The proprietress was very friendly and shared a lot about Tokushima with me. The food was all delicious. This time, I had liver, chicken wings, and a sashimi platter. The liver was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth the moment I tasted it. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, made with local ingredients, and absolutely delicious. The chicken wings paired perfectly with beer, making it hard to stop drinking. It was a quiet and relaxing spot during my solo trip. The interior had a nostalgic atmosphere, and I felt reluctant to leave. The prices were very reasonable, and I would definitely visit again if I go to Naruto. Located in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture. Recently, I visited the Naruto Whirlpools. The best time to see the large whirlpools varies by day, but luckily, I managed to catch them just in time on the day I went. I visited around 10:30 AM on a weekday, so it wasn’t as crowded as I expected, allowing me to enjoy the experience at a leisurely pace. Walking along the bridge, I was surprised by the stronger-than-expected winds, which gave me a slight chill. However, it was also a moment where I could feel the power of the whirlpools up close. Looking down through the glass floor, you can see the whirlpools swirling right beneath you—it’s truly breathtaking. This is a unique view that you can only experience in Naruto, so I highly recommend checking the best viewing times before visiting.

I went to see the Naruto Strait whirlpools 🌀 This time, I enjoyed a double perspective: from the 'Uzu no Michi' (walking directly above) and from a sightseeing boat (right at sea level) ◎ The conclusion? Both were completely different and absolutely worth it 💯 📍 Uzu no Michi A walkway directly under the Onaruto Bridge, where the floor is made of glass, allowing you to see the swirling whirlpools right below…! The bridge's structure is also stunning, making it a must-visit spot for photography enthusiasts. 📍 Boat (Uzushio-go) The whirlpools seen from right at sea level are overwhelmingly powerful 😳 I recommend going during times when the whirlpools are at their largest!
