Inner Mongolia Tourism | Mongolian Temple on the Prairie - Baotou Kundulun Zhao

Kundulun Zhao was built in the seventh year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty, and it is commonly known as Kundulun Zhao because the temple is located on the bank of the Kundulun River. Most of the temples are Tibetan-style buildings, centered on the main hall, and the largest building is the Daxiong Treasure Hall. Inside the hall, there are colorful Buddhist story murals, worshiping Sakyamuni, Duoluo Bodhisattva, Tsongkhapa statues, and the ceiling is painted with animals, dragons and phoenixes, flowers and grasses, and large treasure cloud patterns. Other buildings include the East and West Living Buddha Mansion, Huang Temple, Cathedral, Small Dugong, Tibetan Scripture Tower, Jia Ba (Hou Le place) homophonic temple, small horn pavilion, etc. In the distance are the famous "Baotou Iron and Steel Group" and "Baogang Park".
