A gem of the Pamir Plateau - Lake Bosten

Lake Bosten is located on the Pamir Plateau in Xinjiang, and is the largest inland lake in Northwest China, as well as one of the world's lowest-altitude freshwater lakes. Surrounded by mountains, the waters of Lake Bosten are crystal clear and the shores are vast and flat, presenting a uniquely charming natural landscape. In spring, the lake surface has floating ice, and when the lake is calm, it reflects the surrounding mountains, resembling a series of ink wash landscape paintings!
