Chengdu Bay Hotel Stay Experience

1️⃣ The hotel is located in Shuangliu District, which is not close to anywhere you might want to go. It was my first time in Chengdu, and it took about thirty to forty minutes to get anywhere by taxi, and traffic jams made me question my life choices. Therefore, I recommend taking the subway, which is convenient for getting to places like the Panda Base, Wuhou Shrine, and Du Fu Thatched Cottage. We were too tired to take the subway back to the hotel after dinner, so we took a taxi, and it was really congested. Moreover, the drivers generally don't turn on the heating, which is unbearable for friends from the capital. After the rain, Chengdu was so cold that I was shivering. 2️⃣ The hotel is very new, having opened in 2021. The front desk is on the 19th floor, where you can enjoy the view below when checking in. Similarly, you can sit by the window during breakfast, which is very nice. Personally, I care that the breakfast juice is not freshly squeezed, which is a bit less luxurious, but friends who don't mind this can ignore it. 3️⃣ The room is excellent, with a record player at the entrance that automatically plays music when you enter, which is very sophisticated. However, such a high-end hotel room surprisingly does not have a coffee machine‼️ This is really a point of criticism. Everything in the bathroom is very good, quite perfect. 4️⃣ I suggest bringing a swimsuit if possible, as the swimming pool is fantastic, uncrowded, and the water temperature is touching. It closes at ten o'clock at night, so after dinner, you can take your children swimming if you have nothing else to do. I stayed for two nights and went swimming every night after overeating. There is also a spin dryer, and the swimsuit is almost dry after being spun, which is a very well-thought-out detail. In summary, this is a hotel with a great experience, and it's very worth staying at if you don't consider the geographical location. The entrance is quite hidden, and it's easy to miss, giving a sense of exclusivity and luxury as if entering a grand manor with its own unique charm the New Year with a trip.
