If you're a fan of Tomb Raider or The Lost Tomb 📝 Then this place will max out your sense of adventure Here you can gaze into the eyes of deities, listen to the whispers between the rocks, and feel a moment of tranquility in the secret caves About the address📍: Tianyan Cave (Hualing Scenic Area), Beibei, Chongqing About the distance📝: 80km from Chongqing city center, a 1.5h drive About the time⏰: There are only two attractions; it takes about an hour without taking photos, and at most 3 hours if you do About the cost💰: Tickets for both attractions cost 368 yuan, or 49 yuan per person just for photography Attraction 1️⃣ Rock Descending: Descend from a 60m high peak, observe the giant Buddha up close, the whole process takes less than 3 minutes, and it's very photogenic Attraction 2️⃣ Via Ferrata: Similar to rock climbing, it took me just over 20 minutes as I'm quite fast. You climb along the cave walls, and there's a part where you walk on a steel cable which I found quite scary and kept shaking haha, so I suggest that those who lack physical strength or courage should not try it lightly About the attire👔: Outdoor clothing, light-colored tank tops are fine - Tianyan Cave really counts as an off-the-beaten-path attraction, many locals don't even know about it, and not many people visit. But the site is quite small, if you're going for photography, joining a group from Chongqing will ensure you get satisfying photos. Ps: The scenic area is not yet fully developed, and I was secretly wondering what the heck it was when I entered, but actually, it's a hidden gem. So, I only recommend it to friends who happen to be in Chongqing and want a day trip nearby. If you're coming specially, I'm afraid you might diss me. Hahaha
