Con Dao: An Island of Natural Inspiration

On the world map, Con Dao in Vietnam is like a forgotten green pearl. When I set foot on this land, a profound dialogue with nature began. The sea breeze, carrying a salty and humid scent, gently caresses the face, and the waves rhythmically beat against the shore, playing a majestic symphony of nature. Every inch of beach and every coconut tree here is a poem written by nature. The beach is as delicate as powder, a result of the waves' constant caress over the years. The coconut trees stand tall, reaching for the sky, paying tribute to the power of life. The rainforest of Con Dao is a thriving green kingdom, with lush branches and leaves intertwined, allowing sunlight to only sprinkle through the gaps. Walking through it, the chirping of insects and birds is incessant, and various rare plants grow wantonly. They take root and reproduce on this land, without the need for human deliberate carving, following the laws of nature, and interpreting the most authentic appearance of life. This makes me ponder whether, in today's ever-expanding human civilization, we are breaking the original balance of nature. We are always pursuing so-called development and progress, but often neglect the rhythm of nature. The nature of Con Dao is a silent sage, using tranquility and harmony to tell us that only by conforming to nature and respecting the existence of every life can we find the true path of harmonious coexistence. In Con Dao, I felt the power and gentleness of nature and realized the humility that humans should have in front of nature. May we all protect our shared Earth home as we protect this pure land.
