Awa Mountain Exploration 26: Manchunman Buddhist Temple

In the Dai ethnic garden, a series of spectacular, exquisite, and ancient Buddhist temples and pagodas signify the long-standing presence of Buddhism, as well as their extraordinary status in the hearts of the Dai people. Among them, the ancient Manchunman Buddhist Temple is one of the oldest in Xishuangbanna, with a history of over 1400 years. The temple houses Buddha statues, including Sakyamuni, and is considered a sacred place by the Dai people. Here, one can quietly appreciate the exquisite Buddha statues and the magnificent temple architecture, as well as participate in chanting, worship, and prayer, feeling the faith and devotion of the Dai people.
