Damnoen Saduak Floating Market Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Boat Ride Through Floating Market in Ratchaburi
#awesomepic #visitthailand #friendstrip
You should try this floating market experince at least once when you are in Thailand. Yes, there probably some seller trying to set a higher price for tourist but it’s an experience that you’ll hardly experience again. If you are a person with good negotation skills, you can definitely try asking for some better price. I noticed that most of the stall busy selling traditional handicraft, light snacks, local foods but of course there were also many other options as well. Back to my own experience, apart of shopping from our boat, we were also able to step out of our boat and take a quick visit at this temple, Wat Charoen. You could check the maps on the whole market and discuss with the boat owner if you could stop on some spot for quick visit. Just keep in mind that the boat are rent by hour.
Float along Damnoen Saduak with Trip.com 🛶
I booked a day trip to the floating market and the train market through trip.com. We booked for a private transfer to both markets. We were picked up from our hotel at 9am and taken to both. Our driver spoke good English and was also very kind and helpful. He made sure we were comfortable and shared a lot of information with us about both markets.
The floating market was super busy (we arrived around 11:30). We were taken to the boats and driven along the canals until we reached the shopping area.
If you want to stop and look at the stores, you need to speak up! The same goes for food and drinks. Otherwise you’ll float along without the chance to see much. 🤭
Note that most stores have similar items to sell and the price is higher, but it is on the water, and there are many tourists. You can use your bargaining skills to barter with the store owners.
We didn’t get the chance, but you can also get off the boat along the canals and eat at local restaurants there! #mytravelhacks #trip #thailand #thailandtravel #floatingmarket #holidayvacation #bangkok
Is it worth to visit Thai floating markets?
First of all is important to know that when You go to Bangkok there are many floating markets. The famous one is called Damnoen Saduak, It takes around 1.5 hours to get by car.
Is worth to spend around 2 hours and if possible rent a boat to bring You inside the market and have a full experience of It. But if You prefer also can just walk around the market, all site are accessible by walking.
If You rent a car is important to know that the drivers might try to bring You to some different area from this market and try to sell You another market activity saying that the market can not be acceded by walking. If It happens just show Him the map where You wanna go and tell Him that before come You had searched about It and You know how it works!
By the way is a nice activity to know more about the local culture and old costumes.

Hotel newly opened in 2022, the location is superb, within a 3-minute walk from the BTS station. Super five-star hotel but at the affordable price! The service is super good, first time encounter seat down check in.
The rooms are super large and all the equipment are available. High floor rooms with night view. The swimming pool is super five-star, much bigger than Marriott next door!
American design with great aesthetic feeling. Sound insulation is good, the bed is comfortable to sleep, there is a kitchen, washing machine and dryer.

Thailand Pattaya: Travel Diary of Touring the Golden Mansion of Wealth and Prosperity
The Thai Golden Palace of Wealth is a magnificent feng shui treasure in Pattaya, Thailand. The estate boasts impressive architectural design and scenic sculptures in its environment.
Carved beams and painted rafters, exquisite works of art abound, it's simply a palace.
Theme of the Golden House of Wealth and Prosperity adopts sky blue and pink colors, with sky blue symbolizing the source of life water and pink symbolizing love. As soon as you enter the estate gate, peacocks greet you with their colorful display.
The entire exterior garden of the estate presents a park-like appearance. The dark green pine trees and lush lawn cover the entire ground, leaving only a few intricate paths for walking. It takes a long time just to admire this garden. The variously shaped rocks are orderly placed on the lawn, adding a touch of natural atmosphere to the tranquil ambiance. Under the blue sky and white clouds, enjoy the wonderful moments it brings.
The pond in the middle of the garden is a unique presence. Not only does it have a fountain, but also animal sculptures above the stones in the center of the pool. Unlike ordinary bronze sculptures, the animal images are portrayed in their original form, with vivid expressions and lifelike postures. Looking into the distance, it looks like cows and sheep crossing the river on the stones, with the flowing water adding a dynamic touch to the stillness. The flowers and lawn on the edge of the pond add a touch of rural scenery to this lively picture.
Coconut trees sway gracefully in the breeze, rustling their leaves loudly. The sunlight reflects off the cool shade of the trees, creating a beach-like atmosphere. The garden is like a zoo, with peacocks elegantly blooming on the lawn. It's like a magic show, with their tail feathers fanning out in a magnificent display, allowing everyone to witness their splendor.
European-style architecture stands before your eyes, with a unique European style exterior and Thai-style unique features preserved inside. The entire hall is curved, not only spacious, but also very peaceful, and overall it looks like the main hall of a temple. The most luxurious and dazzling thing in the hall is the pure gold Guanyin statue, which is the shining world business card of the golden house.
In the main hall of the Daxiong Baodian, the statue of Shakyamuni is only gold-plated, while this Guanyin, including the lotus pedestal, is made of pure gold. It not only represents superb carving skills, but also demonstrates the wealthy owner's financial resources. The entire estate is magnificent with gold and jade decorations, and the decorations of the buildings in the hall are also plated with gold. The dome's gold pattern style reflects the estate's exquisite details. The estate also collects various small statues, including pure gold, gold-plated, copper, and jade materials. The collection's brilliance is enough to illuminate the entire estate.
There is a pure golden sea of Guanyin Golden Buddha in the manor, so it is called "rich gold house." The manor is built on the sea and covers an area of over 180,000 square meters. Upon entering the manor gate, a peacock came on the scene and saw the handsome man and the prostitute, immediately opened the screen and competed. The manor is very discouraged, carved and painted, regardless of architectural design, or landscape sculpture environment, can be called art boutique, beautiful, said the manor, is simply a palace. Come and enjoy the sea of Guanyin, let you experience the luxury life of the rich, and get the richest fortune. This manor is also the location of the location of the youth idol drama "Meteor Garden", which has been popular in Southeast Asia more than a decade ago.
I did not expect a private estate to become a famous tourist attraction in Thailand. This place, known as the rich gold house, is a truly magnificent Feng Shui Baodi private estate built by Pattayas first wealthy national richer of 1.4 billion baht in Thailand. During this period, you can experience the luxury of real rich people. Life, the wealth of the richest people, everyone has a thought of becoming a "local tyrant." The popular Taiwanese idol drama "Meteor Garden" was once filmed inside, and the home of Daoming Temple is like this, driving you to think about it.
Introduction to the rich gold house in Pattaya, Thailand Into the "Meteor Garden" filming the rich gold house
Rich gold house, rich private estate, rich and magnificent, must be smothered. The Meteor Garden is a place where you can get a word. The Rich Gold House is a truly magnificent place in Pattaya, Thailand. The private garden facing the sea is the richest man in Thailand. In addition to the Thai architecture, it also combines some Western architecture.
