Enshi Grand Canyon, as the most famous scenic spot in Enshi, has always been the representative of Enshi. Its Yunlong Rift has been praised by National Geographic as the most beautiful scar on China's land, with sheer cliffs surrounding peaks, rifts matching sinkholes, and all kinds of extreme landscapes of karst topography are included here. Friends who travel to Enshi must go and experience it. Enshi Grand Canyon was developed relatively late (the overall development of Enshi was also late, and the history with highways is very short), it has learned a lot from the development ideas of many famous mountains and rivers in China. After visiting, I feel that the scenery is indeed very beautiful and worth a visit, 💕💕💕Tips: 1️⃣ The distance from Enshi High-speed Train Station to the Grand Canyon is very far, and the road conditions are not good (all are national and provincial roads), which is very bumpy. Those who get carsick can consider taking a car from Lichuan High-speed Train Station, which is closer and the road conditions are better. 2️⃣ There are many homestays with great views next to the Enshi Grand Canyon in Mufu Village, which are very cost-effective. It is highly recommended to stay here for one night. If you are lucky, you can see the morning mist and sea of clouds in the morning. If you encounter the rapeseed flower season, it is as beautiful as an oil painting. 3️⃣ Friends who have difficulty walking must be mentally prepared. The Enshi Grand Canyon scenic area is designed to be very large. It's not that it's difficult to climb, but simply that the route design is very long. Under normal circumstances, it requires Qixingzhai (3h by cable car, 4h without cable car) + Yunlong Rift (1.5h by elevator, 2h without elevator)~ These do not include waiting time in line, and it takes twenty minutes to walk from the parking lot to the entrance of the scenic area. 4️⃣ The most beautiful Mufu Waterfall of Yunlong Rift is near the vertical elevator at the end. If you go to the rift, be sure to walk to the end, and it's best to bring an umbrella, as there is a long exposed path to walk after the elevator. 5️⃣ There are supplies along the Qixingzhai scenic area, with reasonable prices. There are disposable walking sticks for sale in the parking lot, and there are no supplies inside Yunlong Rift, so remember to bring a bottle of water. 6️⃣ The uphill cable car of Qixingzhai is really not necessary to take (unless you are really in a hurry or have difficulty walking). The scenic bus can directly take you to the entrance halfway up the mountain. The actual extra climb is just a section of the cliff plank road, and you can pass by the Immortal Peak and South Heaven Gate, all with great views. The Qixingzhai downhill escalator is highly recommended, it's affordable and you can enjoy the scenery slowly. 7️⃣ You must take the elevator at the exit of Yunlong Rift, otherwise, you'll be exhausted. There is still a long way to go after taking the elevator. 8️⃣ Those who don't have a Hubei annual pass can find locals to buy tickets which can be cheaper (such as drivers). If you are in a hurry or have difficulty walking, you can consider only going to Yunlong Rift. Tickets can be purchased separately, and the peak forest of the Grand Canyon can be seen along the way... 9️⃣ There are automatic storage lockers at the parking lot skybridge, costing 10-20 per day depending on the size of the locker (the largest size suitcase can also fit).
