Yunlong Ground Fissure - Enshi Grand Canyon

Enshi Grand Canyon, located in Tunbao Township, Enshi City, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province, is located at the junction of Hunan, Chongqing, and Hubei provinces, 49 kilometers away from Enshi city and 39 kilometers away from Lichuan city. The canyon is 108 kilometers long and covers an area of 300 square kilometers. Yunlong River Ground Fissure is located in Enshi Grand Canyon, running through the front mountain cliff of the Grand Canyon. The total length is about 20 kilometers, the average depth is 100 meters, and the ground fissure is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, shaped like the character 'eight'. The average width at the top is about 16.8 meters, and the average width at the bottom is about 30 meters. The widest entrance of the ground fissure is more than 100 meters. Now part of it is open. 🚉Travel strategy: There are many inns near Enshi Grand Canyon, and most inns will provide services to pick up and drop off tourists to the entrance of Enshi Grand Canyon. There is a parking lot near the entrance, and the transportation is very convenient. After entering the entrance, you need to walk a street with shops on both sides to reach the tourist service center. Tour route: After entering Enshi Grand Canyon Scenic Area, first take the 'small train' (ground cable car) to the cableway square, and then you can choose: 1. The direction of taking the cableway to Qixingzhai; 2. The direction of going down the steps to Yunlong Ground Fissure. End and return here to take the small train back to the tourist service center.
