I walked all the way from Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street to Yongqingfang, eating and playing along the way. I passed by Liwan Lake Park, which looked quite large and had free admission, so I went in for a visit. There were many vibrant flowers, and it felt like spring had already arrived in Guangzhou. The park was full of spring scenery, and the view by the lake was also very beautiful. As I continued walking, what surprised me were the trees here. The trees were very large and uniquely shaped. Each tree looked very ancient, said to have been born during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. The trees had many branches, forming a forest on their own. The passage of time was like gold, and the beauty of the banyan shade was intoxicating. Many people were chatting, resting, and enjoying the scenery under the banyan trees by the lake. Liwan Lake Park is a comprehensive park that combines culture, entertainment, and play. There are also restaurants, tea seats, and a variety of modern amusement facilities inside. The park is covered with lush green grass, small bridges and flowing water, presenting a typical Lingnan garden landscape, best reflecting the elegant and soft style of the southern country. The area near the park is very lively, with a good geographical location and many attractions nearby. In addition to the lake, rockeries, and pavilions in the park, there are many small alleys filled with lanterns, which are very charming and worth a visit.
