Strolling through the fishing village island, this is a different Hong Kong

Lamma Island is the third largest island after Lantau Island and Hong Kong Island, and it is also the outlying island closest to Hong Kong Island. Unlike the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong Island, this place is serene. Fishermen, farmers, and Western immigrants live a unique rural life here, with lush green mountains behind them and the majestic sea in front. There are also waterfront restaurants and seafood houses that make one unconsciously attracted by this tranquil atmosphere. There are two villages on the island, one in the north called 'Yung Shue Wan' and the other on the other side of the mountain called 'Sok Kwu Wan'. They are also the stops for the ferry⛴️ service to and from Central Pier No. 4, with a journey time of just 30 minutes and an affordable fare. If you come to Hong Kong and want to experience a different Hong Kong-style life, I recommend you to wear light clothing to 'Lamma Island'.
