It's surprising to find $10 skewers in Central, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, including skewers, salads, snacks, mains, and desserts. This time, we ordered items from almost every category. Initially, we thought the $10 skewers might not be of high quality, but the salt-grilled Spanish pork belly was tender and bouncy, with a slightly charred aroma. The black truffle grilled chicken liver was not overly dry and had a rich truffle fragrance. The salt-grilled chicken thigh 🍗 was soft and tender. Chicken diaphragm was quite unique, not a common ingredient. The meat was firm, slightly chewy, and had a hint of fatty aroma. The caramelized pineapple 🍍 with foie gras toast featured foie gras that was mousse-like in texture, smooth and delicate. The juicy caramelized pineapple balanced the richness of the foie gras, making it a perfect pairing. The squid paste + seaweed wrapped shrimp 🍤 was a labor of love. Seaweed encased the bouncy squid 🦑 paste and large shrimp, coated with a thin batter and fried to crispy perfection. The cilantro 🌿 shredded chicken flatbread 🫓 is a must-order for cilantro lovers! The flatbread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, stuffed with plenty of cilantro for a refreshing taste. The shredded chicken was slightly spicy and very flavorful. Among all the dishes, our favorite was the Hong Kong-style honey toast with ice cream 🍦. The toast was drenched in honey 🍯 and incredibly fluffy.
