A cool place to stay in Aussie if you are visiting the snowy moutains. Jindabyne town in a really nice a chill area with Lake Jindabyne, a reservoir created as part of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Scheme. The old town of Jindabyne was submerged in the 1960s while people were all relocated. When water levels are lower remnants of the old town can sometimes be seen 🧐
