A Gathering Place of Immortals - Dinghu Peak

Emperor Xuanyuan ascended to immortality here, a gathering place of immortals. After visiting the land of immortals in the Song Dynasty, Wang Shipeng expressed his admiration, 'Weary of the Western Lake, visitors to the imperial capital seek the land of immortals; Dinghu is preferred. Caves join the dragon's pool with distant clouds, and mountains part for the solitary peak of Yandang.' The land of immortals is located in Jinyun County, Zhejiang. Known as 'Emperor Xuanyuan's Jinyun, the mortal land of immortals,' the most unforgettable memory for many is the TV series 'The Legend of Sword and Fairy.' Li Xiaoyao and Zhao Ling'er from the series are the youthful memories of many. 🌿The number one peak under heaven. The Dinghu Peak scenic area boasts the world's tallest monolithic stone pillar, known as 'the number one peak under heaven.' The base covers an area of 2,468 square meters, the top area is 710 meters, and it stands at a towering height of 170.8 meters, soaring into the sky, exuding a masculine energy. It is a rhyolite plateau formed by volcanic eruptions 160 million years ago, shaped into a spectacular columnar peak by geological external forces. 🌿The Temple of the Yellow Emperor. Within the scenic area, the predecessor of which was the Jinyun Hall, built during the Eastern Jin Dynasty's Xianhe period. It is said to be one of the three great palaces of the Yellow Emperor, the 'Son of Heaven.' TV series such as 'The Emperor Wu of Han,' 'Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils,' 'Swordsman,' and 'Young Detective Dee' were filmed here. In the entire land of immortals scenic area, only Dinghu Peak requires an admission ticket; all others are free of charge. The ticket price is 95 yuan, and the round-trip cable car costs 40 yuan. After entering, you first pass through a park, cross a bridge, and arrive at the Temple of the Yellow Emperor. After visiting the temple, you can choose to walk or take the cable car to the mountain top. Those with good physical strength can climb up, though the slope is somewhat steep. Standing at the top and overlooking the land of immortals presents a completely different view.
