Kotor Old Town...

Located at the foot of Mount Lovćen, the old city of Kotor is said to have been inhabited since the 1st century BC. Unlike the cities or towns of today, which were built by settlers who voluntarily established their homes and buildings, it resulted in narrow, winding, and irregular streets with asymmetrical and bumpy squares. There's also an interesting story that the names of the squares were named after products related to the place, such as salad, flour, milk, etc. With the establishment of the Dominican and Franciscan monasteries in the 13th century, it is said that there were about 50 churches within the old city until the 20th century, but most of them have disappeared due to four major earthquakes and have reached today.. It was very nice because it has a more classic(?) charm compared to other European old towns.
