Kinkaku-ji Temple - Golden Pavillion

#fallishere A beautiful temple with picturesque surrounding gardens and an exquisite gold covered temple. The shrines, zen gardens, and history is spectacular. There are a lot of shrines and temples all over the place, but this is special and you want to catch it during the early morning when it opens, so you can watch it as the Sun makes that gold pop! At the exit, there are shops where you can buy ice-cream with gold leaves & sake with gold leaves. This is a must see stop if you are in Kyoto!
