UK Parent-Child Study Tour Diary Day: Must adjust to the time difference, which is quite uncomfortable

Traveling far with a child alone, and for nearly a month. With lots of luggage, four suitcases, I still feel a bit apprehensive on the road. After arriving at Heathrow Airport, I followed the crowd to queue for UK entry. The wait was originally estimated at 1 hour, but halfway through, a staff member moved us to the family priority queue, and in half an hour we reached the small window. They asked: what are you here for, how long will you stay, and requested to see the school notice, and took fingerprints. After entering the country, I went to collect the checked luggage, which had already arrived, and smoothly found the subway with the luggage cart. Since it was the starting station, there weren't many people and there were plenty of seats. It took about 40 minutes to reach Gloucester Road station. Coming out, I had to carry the luggage up a short flight of stairs, and met a very enthusiastic girl who helped. There's no need to buy a subway ticket; I used a credit card with a wifi symbol to directly enter and exit the station. The weather was very nice in the morning, breezy and refreshing. Many people were jogging, walking dogs, and hurrying along the road, and the houses were lined up as exquisitely as toys. The house we rented this time is also an old one, in a great location, and very cute. After tidying up the room, both of us took a shower, washed clothes, dried them, and then went out to find food. Planned to go to the cafe in the V&A Museum. Along the way, crossing from Imperial College, I saw the students in a relaxed state and was super envious. The V&A Museum wasn't very crowded, but staff were everywhere. No reservation or ticket was needed, and the building itself was breathtakingly beautiful. The exhibits were so numerous they were dense, and the whole museum felt incredibly impressive. I saw many people eating simple meals in the courtyard, leisurely and content, with children and pigeons at ease, and the weather comfortable, so I decided to buy some simple meals at the outdoor cafe in the courtyard. To be honest, the food didn't look very appetizing... but it was quite expensive, maybe I'm just not used to the prices yet. Bought a chicken roll, chocolate croissant, and peach iced tea for 14 pounds. The cashier didn't accept cash, only a credit card tap. I didn't find Leonardo da Vinci's manuscripts in the V&A Museum; room 64 where they were supposed to be was mostly under renovation. The museum is super huge, and after an afternoon of walking, I only covered a little bit. There are many interactive experiences inside, very suitable for parent-child communication, such as taking photos in medieval Roman costumes, pattern puzzles, lead printing totems, oil painting layer demonstrations - the Chinese exhibition on the ground floor has Chinese titles. Very interesting~
