The breathtaking Baker’s Falls

Baker's Falls is a well-known waterfall in Sri Lanka, located between the park's entrance and World's End Gap. Baker's falls is a spectacular and stunning waterfall located in the Nuwara Eliya area, 3 kilometers from the main gate of Horton Plains national park. Though it is not a tall waterfall, but it is extremely beautiful and offers stunning views from various angles. The climb to the falls, named for late Sir Samuel Baker, a well-known British explorer and game hunter during the British colonial period, provides breathtaking views over Horton Plains. It is also accessible from the towns of Pattipola and Ohiya. A recognized pathway leads from Pattipola to World's End and loops back to Baker's Falls.
