the scenic train ride Nanu Ota-Elle

This 3.5 hour train journey from Nanu Oya-Ella is one of the most scenic train journeys i’ve ever experienced. It guarantees an incredible view as it crosses the southern Sri Lankan hill country & slide through the clouds. you will be amazed by the grand view along the train ride especially if you are able to secure the open door of the train. you will not bother to take a seat i can assure that. the journey offers you stunning landscapes of green and lush tea plantations and mountain views. since this train ride is a must do & totally recommended, i advise you all to buy the ticket in advance. if only i had the time, i wish i can try the train from Ella to Kandy as well #scenictrain #srilanka #ella
