Bodega Bar

#songkran2024 This large and airy corner bar on Sai Song and Soi 13/2 is very relaxed and casual. Its not a girly bar. Instead it's much like a local British pub in that you can go in at 11am, perch yourself on a comfy padded high stool either at the rectangular centre-situated bar and escape the heat and traffic, chatting with the efficient bar-staff or reading the news, all day long if you wish and nobody is going to bother you. It's generally quite quiet until 4:30pm, when it livens up a lot. The crowd are generally a middle aged, good humoured bunch and you'll hear plenty of laughter and, occasionally, good live music. The drinks prices are good value - a little below average - surprising considering the bar's prime location. Highly recommended.
