Ancient Siam City, known as the "world's largest outdoor museum", is located on Sukhumvit Road. Siam is the ancient name of Thailand (Thai is สยาม (Sayam), English is Siam). The main ethnic group is Thai, who believe in Theravada Buddhism. Since the founding of the country in the 13th century AD, it has experienced the Sukhothai Dynasty, Ayutthaya Dynasty (Ayutthaya Dynasty), Thonburi Dynasty, and Chakri Dynasty (Bangkok Dynasty) four times. On June 24, 1939, the country's name was changed to "Thailand", and it was renamed "Siam" in 1945. In 1949, it was renamed "Thailand" again, which has been used to this day.
