The drumbeats of March Third resonate

From April 11 to 14, the March Third mini-holiday ended. Having lived in Nanning for many years, I seriously watched the March Third event at Qingxiu Mountain for the first time. I went on the 12th, entering from the east gate of Qingxiu Mountain, and as I approached the bamboo garden, I could hear the sound of drums. I hurriedly quickened my pace along with everyone else, rushing towards the source of the sound. The area was already packed with tourists, and I could only raise my camera to capture the joyous drum dances. The theme of this event was 'Rising Tide of March Third, Forging Ahead on a New Journey.' It was divided into five sections: Joyful Guangxi Villages, Delicious Guangxi Villages, Beautiful Guangxi Villages, Tech Trendy Street, and Colorful ASEAN Villages. Joyful Guangxi Villages featured Zhuang ethnic drum dances, Yao ethnic drum dances, and a water dance performance called 'Brushing the Willows.' Delicious Guangxi Villages offered various Guangxi delicacies for tourists to taste, as well as a youth acrobatics show. Beautiful Guangxi Villages displayed minority ethnic wax-dyed fabrics and showcased the clothing of the Black Zhuang through young models. Tech Trendy Street and Colorful ASEAN Villages provided exhibition platforms for relevant departments. The event was exciting and rich, but personally, I felt that the lack of traditional mountain song duets was a bit of a pity.
