Head to Yunnan's 'Hundred-Mile Azalea' to capture spring. This year is the year when the tree azaleas are in full bloom, and I happened to learn that there is a ten-thousand-acre azalea flower sea in Qujing. Coming here, I indeed witnessed the magnificent sight of azaleas in full bloom. The flower sea is located at the summit of Qilin - Caojia Mountain, which is also the junction of Qilin, Luoping, and Fuyuan counties. Over these dozens of miles of foothills and cliffs, there are dozens of precious tree species distributed, including Rhododendron arboreum, Rhododendron chrysanthum, Rhododendron obtusum, Rhododendron gaoligongense, and Rhododendron macrophyllum. White, red, pink, light yellow, and even light purple azaleas cover several long strip-shaped foothills. Wandering in the ocean of azaleas, breathing in the air filled with the fragrance of flowers, one is completely intoxicated! Tickets: Free Parking: A fee of 30 yuan per car, there are currently two parking lots, one with a cement road surface and the other with a dirt road surface, which can accommodate many vehicles. Travel Guide: There are two areas to visit in the flower sea. 1. The road at the top end on the right side (west side of the mountain) leads to the observation deck and plank road. This side of the road is the plank road, which is basically flat without significant altitude changes, and since the plank road is built above the flower trees, it is very conducive to viewing. Personally, I think this side is the most beautiful. The end of the plank road is a dirt road, which also leads to the side of the highway, but the colors of the flowers after the plank road are mostly light yellow, and the most colorful part is still the plank road section. 2. The road at the top end on the left side leads to the north end of the mountain. Walking up the mountain along the stone cement path, this side requires climbing. The flowers are a bit sparse in the first half of the way, but after reaching the highest point and the viewing pavilion, there are many more flowers on the other side of the mountain, with very rich colors, and finally, you can walk to a corner of the cement parking lot. In this direction, you don't need to walk back the same way to see the flowers. Dining: There are water and local snacks for sale at the cement road surface parking lot. It is recommended to eat in Dongshan Town on the way, where there are stir-fries, hot pots, and rice noodle dishes. Toilets: There is a public toilet next to the cement parking lot and children's playground.
