Learning ancient tofu making

After hiking in the mountain we arrived back into the small village at it's base. There were some small farms and houses making various types of traditional foods. This house was making tofu skins and soya milk drinks. Watching the process was very interesting and they gave us some hot sweet tofu drink which was very nice and a needed refreshment after hiking in the mountain. You can buy packs of dried tofu skins in the small shop at a very cheap price. Super cool to see that these villagers are still living a very traditional life in this small rural community here.
