✨ Shanghai Diaries: A city of the future that still smells of the past ✨ This trip, I flew to Shanghai, a city that is like a cross between New York and Paris, but with a little bit of ancient Chinese flavor. Let me tell you, it's so awesome!! How to get there ✈️ From Thailand, it takes about 4-5 hours to fly to Pudong International Airport. 🚆 From the airport, take the Maglev Train (the world's fastest magnetic train!) — 7 minutes to the city. So cool!!! Accommodation 🏨 Sleeping near The Bund is great! It's right on the Huangpu River, with a full view of iconic buildings. The lights are so beautiful at night. Must-see attractions • The Bund (Waitan) 🌉: Walk along the river, enjoy the breeze, and see the Shanghai Tower and Jin Mao Tower. It's so beautiful that you want to stop time. • Yu Garden 🏯: The ancient garden is so beautiful. The dragon wall and the carvings are really amazing. • Nanjing Road 🛍️: Shopaholics must come! A world-class shopping street Neon lights are flickering all over the street • Shanghai Disneyland 🏰 : A dreamland, have fun like a child again, the newest Zootopia zone is so cute! • Tianzifang 🖼️ : A super cool art district, cool alleys, cafes and handmade shops to walk around all day long Must-try food • Xiaolongbao 🥟 : The original shop “Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant” at Yu Garden is the best • Hot Pot ♨️ : Sip the spicy soup at Haidilao, so good that you’ll cry • Yangzhou Fried Rice 🍚 : A basic menu but so delicious, you have to try it Little trick • Using Alipay or WeChat Pay is more convenient than cash, almost everywhere in Shanghai doesn’t accept cash anymore • Download the Baidu Map or DiDi app in case you need to call a taxi, because Google Map doesn’t work very well • Learning some basic Chinese words like “Ni Hao” (hello) and “Xie Xie” (thank you) will help a lot Feelings after the trip Shanghai is like a city that has come out of the future but still has the roots of the old culture in its heart ✨ Great atmosphere, stylish people, and delicious food that doesn't need any additional seasoning!
