The three sculptures in the Chenghuang Temple in Shaoxing Shengzhou are truly stunning, worthy of being the number one building in Xishan.

Time and space flow, time has passed, and culture has precipitated. A pair of sisters, dressed exquisitely in floral dresses and green jackets, are using a large broom made of bamboo leaves to gather the scattered camphor flowers on the ground into a pile. The scene is beautiful. The surroundings of the temple are very quiet, and the sound of the younger sister sweeping the floor is gentle, while the fragrance of the camphor trees is pleasant. Entering the doorway, the sight is suppressed by darkness. Step by step, climbing up the stairs, the eyes involuntarily look up. When the gaze falls on the endless carvings of "Xishui First Floor", the heart beats faster and feels slightly dizzy. The bricks, stones, and wood carvings in the building are numerous and beautiful, with exquisite craftsmanship that is overwhelming. Behind the building, there is an ancient stage with a grand and well-preserved appearance, which is rare in the world and an important venue for early Yue opera performers. Shengzhou City God Temple is located at the southern foot of Lutai Mountain in the city of Shengzhou, Zhejiang Province. It was first built in 1345 and the existing buildings were rebuilt in the ninth year of the Qing Jiaqing period. When Zhu Xi, a philosopher of the Southern Song Dynasty, visited Shengzhou, he climbed to the City God Temple on Lutai Mountain and inscribed the four characters "Xishan Diyi" (the first of the stream and mountain). Next door is the rebuilt Huian Temple, which was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and is the oldest temple in Shengzhou's history.
