Famous Old School Bakery At Katong

Located at basement 1 of Katong shopping center is Dona Manis Cakeshop. One would never expect an old school bakery there because it is within an old building and you hardly see their baked goods on display. However, it is one of the longest old school bakery that has been there since I was a little child and those who knows Dona Manis Bakery, would know that their banana pies are legendary and it is the best! People would pre order and queue to grab those banana pies with a buttery crust and nice banana fillings. Newspaper articles are shown at the shop front, with them recommending their baked goods. Their banana pie is at $3.30 per slice. Another highly recommended item at Dona manis is their chocolate tarts which are so good and it's sold at 5 pieces for $6. Pretty reasonable. Dona Manis is My go to store, whenever I miss their old school delights. You should try it too! #tripblazers #foodie
