This unassuming place hides ancient legends

In the vast northwest of China, any ancient relic could trace back to ancient legends. For example, this seemingly unremarkable small broken temple, really small, really broken, really unremarkable. So much so that any normal person would not notice it, let alone stop the car and go inside to worship. This is the site of the Queen Mother of the West's stone chamber, inside is a natural cave, and the outside building is built according to the cave. The temple is located in Tianjun County, Qinghai Province, at an altitude of over 3800 meters, and is a sacred place of Tibetan Buddhism. It is rumored that the Queen Mother of the West practiced here, and the locals regard this place as the Queen Mother of the West Temple. My husband is a religious enthusiast, and I am a traditional culture enthusiast. Whenever we encounter some places with a bit of story and history, we are more interested. During our self-driving tour along the Qinghai-Gansu line, we happened to encounter this place and got off the car to take a look. There was no one inside, but the lights were on, and there were a small amount of butter lamps and spices. After bypassing a few old prayer wheels, I saw the interior of the stone chamber in the back. There were several statues in the grotto, but I didn't recognize them, so I could only follow and worship. The interior light was dim, the temperature was low, it gave a gloomy feeling, but facing the statue of the Queen Mother of the West in front of me, there was a sense of awe. Tibetan Buddhism has a kind of atmosphere that gives people a special feeling, cold, awe, sober... I can't tell. I wanted to take pictures, but I felt that it might not be respectful enough or afraid of offending something. My husband told me not to take pictures, so I only took a picture of the entrance of the stone chamber.
