Because it's the off-season haha, I didn't see two people all the way, and it's really cool to enjoy the beautiful scenery alone. There's no need to jostle with the crowd at the attractions, waiting for a spot to take a nice photo. Location: Tonglu Attractions: Malingshan Ancient Trail, Daqi Mountain National Forest Park Experience: On the first day, I set off from Shishe Village and hiked about 20km along the Malingshan Ancient Trail to Lüci Village. Since it was the off-season, I only encountered 2 or 3 people along the way, and it took about 6 hours to complete the journey. I took a deep breath of oxygen in the mountains, but be aware that there are not many signposts or emergency phone numbers along the way. It's best to go with someone. To enter the Malingshan Ancient Trail from Maoping Village to Lüci Village, you need to enter from Provincial Highway 210. Along the way, you will pass a small water monitoring station, and your shoes might get wet when crossing. Even more outrageous is that after the tunnel bridge, there is a section of the road where you must wade through a small waterfall to get across. In early March, I took off my shoes and went barefoot (not wanting to turn back). The scenery is really beautiful, but my feet were really stiff. On the second day, I went to Daqi Mountain. Maybe my expectations were too high. I spent 46 yuan on a ticket (Malingshan Ancient Trail is free), and there weren't many beautiful places inside. There were really a lot of kids. After passing through the bamboo forest, you will pass by a playground. Climbing stairs up the mountain, the waterfall at the top is very beautiful. When coming down the mountain, there is a jungle flying squirrel attraction. In fact, it's not very high, and it takes only 1 minute to come down by it, costing 60 yuan per person. It feels average, but it's also an experience. Note: Don't rely on Tonglu's public transportation. I recommend self-driving, or take a taxi if you can. First, there are too few buses, and second, it takes too long. Spending a bit more money can make your trip more enjoyable. When early spring comes and the weather gets warmer, the leaves will turn green and it will look even better, but there will also be more people. I plan to come here again in the summer. By then, the leaves will be green, the scenery will be more beautiful, and I can also enjoy rafting. I can visit Yan Ziling Fishing Platform (Fuchun Mountains Residence), Heartbeat Park, and other attractions again.
