DimDimSum Taiwan Xinzhuang Honghui Store

DimDimSum, originating from Hong Kong, was already a highly recommended dim sum restaurant among locals before it was introduced to Taiwan. It was named the Best Dim Sum Restaurant in Hong Kong by TimeOut in 2011 and was listed among the 101 Best Restaurants in the World by Newsweek in 2012. My dining experience two years ago was not very satisfactory, but every time I visit Honghui, I see long queues! The owner mentioned that there is a birthday gift available for exchange, so I decided to give it another try last night! I ordered the pan-fried turnip cake that I found delicious last time. You can taste the radish chunks and aroma. The birthday gift was the custard piggy bun, which was also visually appealing and tasty last time! Additionally, the shrimp and chive rolls wrapped in tofu skin were also filled with stuffing and tasted good. I used points to redeem a 'Tortoise and Hare Race' dish, which was very cute, but the taste was just average.
