For the old residents of Shiqi, this place is not unfamiliar; every elderly person from Shiqi and those born in the 80s living in Shiqi can tell its story🎤. Although Yueshan Park is small and lacks the landscape design of modern gardens, it offers views of several tall buildings in Zhongshan🗼. To the right of the park are the Lihe Twin Towers and the Golden Eagle Building, and to the left are the quiet old tile-roofed houses of the old town, where the contrast between the new and the old is fully visible😜. At the entrance of the park, there is a remnant of the ancient city wall🧐. This wall was originally built from the 22nd to the 24th year of the Shaoxing period in the Song Dynasty and has been expanded and renovated multiple times during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Today, of the four city gates—east, west, south, and north—only the east gate wall remains, under a large banyan tree, burying a hundred years of history🎞. Recently, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau announced that the park will undergo revitalization and renovation🚧.
