Din Daeng travel guide and discussion

Located in Pracha Songkhro, Din Daeng—a neighborhood where you can feel Bangkok's vibrant local energy. Tucked away in this unpretentious downtown area, you'll find a highly stylish and sophisticated space that makes you feel like you've stumbled into a quaint bakery on a Parisian street corner. Welcome to "CBonnard Café & Bakery" 🥐 The biggest draw here is the array of authentic pastries baked fresh by the French owner. Even though you're in Thailand, you can easily enjoy high-quality sweets crafted with traditional European techniques. To be completely honest, the Danish lacked a buttery aroma and had a bit of a "refrigerator smell," so it wasn't my favorite. However, their cakes that blend in Thai dessert elements are top-notch and supposedly very popular! The interior beautifully blends the warmth of wood with modern design, creating a cozy and highly photogenic space from every angle. Enjoying exquisite pastries and aromatic, freshly brewed coffee while basking in the soft natural light from the large windows is the ultimate way to recharge during your trip! If you're a cafe lover looking to discover a new side of Bangkok, you definitely need to check this place out! 🥐 CBonnard Café & Bakery 📌 Pracha Songkhro, Din Daeng, Bangkok 10400

Our initial intention was to visit JODD FAIRS solely for dinner before concluding our evening, but that plan quickly changed once we began exploring. It seemed that every few steps, a new stall would capture my attention. Despite my resolve not to make any purchases, I eventually yielded after encountering the popular elephant pants at nearly every market in Bangkok. At a mere 100 baht per pair, they proved to be incredibly soft, comfortable, and surprisingly well-made. They have since become a cherished souvenir, as I frequently wear them at home. I also noticed a manicure stall and decided to indulge myself before departing. This was an unplanned treat, but the service was prompt, there was a delightful array of nail designs to choose from, and the prices were very reasonable. It turned out to be one of those small travel experiences that made the evening even more memorable. By the time we left, we found ourselves laden with shopping bags in one hand and snacks in the other, astonished at how quickly the time had flown by. We had only intended to have dinner, yet we somehow departed with new clothing, freshly manicured nails, and another enjoyable memory from Bangkok.

This shop serves "freshly squeezed rice noodles" in the Renunakhon (Nakhon Phanom) style, which is becoming quite popular in Bangkok. Its unique selling point is that the noodles are made fresh to order, not pre-made, which is distinctly different from other shops. 🏠 Shop Atmosphere · It's a small shop located at the beginning of Soi Inthamara 24. · There are about 4-5 tables for dine-in. But people come and go constantly. · Delivery available (LineMan / Robinhood), convenient for those who want to eat at home. 🍜 Highlights (the real highlights of this shop): 1. Freshly squeezed rice noodles: · Squeezed fresh, plate by plate. · The noodles are chewier and more springy than regular rice noodles. 2. Authentic Northeastern Thai-style curry sauces: There are about 3 main types: · Shrimp paste curry → Very rich and flavorful. · Fermented fish sauce → Very spicy and savory. · Coconut milk curry → Lighter flavor, for balance. 👉 Many people recommend "mixing shrimp paste + fermented fish sauce" for the ultimate savory flavor. The shop is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The shop is closed every Friday. Location: Soi Inthamara 24. Enter the soi, the shop is on the left. There is no large parking lot. Motorcycles can be parked next to the shop.

#underratedspots Let’s be completely honest: the bubble tea scene in Bangkok is intensely competitive, but while most brands stick to standard, mass-produced tapioca, one homegrown Thai brand completely disrupted the industry.Founded by iconic local travel content creators, BEARHOUSE built a massive community following for creating something totally unique—their legendary handmade Mochi Pearls (ไข่มุกโมจิ)! Crafted fresh every single day using premium local Thai rice flour, these miniature 7mm pearls carry a signature, incredibly pillowy, ultra-stretchy texture that regular boba simply cannot replicate. If you are hanging out around the Asoke intersection or the Sukhumvit line and need a sweet fix, you have a couple of fantastic options nearby. You can head slightly north into the business district to find the beautiful BEARHOUSE Bankampu Asoke branch near the MRT, or swing down the Sukhumvit line to check out the spacious BEARHOUSE branch inside EmSphere or the lifestyle hub at BEARHOUSE Major Cineplex Sukhumvit.🚨 Insider Hacks to Master the BEARHOUSE Menu:The Mochi Pearl Holy Grail: If you are visiting for the first time, do not overcomplicate your drink card. Order the classic BEARHOUSE Milk Tea with Mochi Pearls. The house blend tea leaves carry a deeply smooth, aromatic local flavor profile that highlights the soft, chewy texture of the pearls perfectly. The Sweetness Percentage Rule: BEARHOUSE naturally processes their drinks to let the tea notes cut cleanly through the milk. However, if you prefer a subtle, elegant drink rather than an intense liquid dessert, never order at 100% sweetness. Always ask the barista for "Less Sweet" (หวานน้อย - 50% or 25%) for the absolute sweet-spot balance! The "Tear & Win" Style Seasonal Specials: Don't just scan the milk teas. BEARHOUSE is incredibly famous for its viral fruit tea and yogurt drops, like their crisp Lychee Yogurt or their velvety, savory Cheese Tea Foams. Keep an eye on their menu display for seasonal collaborations where opening the special cup packaging reveals instant discount prizes or limited-edition stickers! The Price & Cashless Protocol: Expect to spend around 90 to 150 THB depending on your size and topping customizations. To keep the busy queues moving fast, save your physical cash notes—the register setups utilize seamless digital scans (PromptPay QR, Visa, MasterCard, NFC Mobile Payments) to get you back on the move instantly. Let's settle the ultimate boba showdown: Does BEARHOUSE’s chewy, handmade Mochi Pearl completely ruin standard tapioca pearls for you, or do you still prefer the classic, dark brown sugar boba? And for the seasoned BEARHOUSE fans—are you team Traditional Milk Tea or team Refreshing Fruit & Cheese Foam? I came for the coffee, but stayed for the pastries. 🐻🌭☕ The bear cream puff was almost too cute to eat, and the dachshund puff definitely stole the show. #VisitBangkok Hello everyone! Today, I will take you to add fat to your body with a delicious pork leg menu that is Michelin Guide-level. It is located in Din Daeng area. This shop is called Khao Moo P.4 and has been open for over 40 years. But this is the first time we have tried it! The atmosphere of the shop is comfortable. When you enter, you will see the counter to order and pay at this point. Then, you will receive a vibrating device to call when the food is ready to be served. You don't have to wait long, about 5 minutes. Today, we ordered rice with pork leg with only meat, intestines and eggs (72 baht) and clear soup with bitter melon and pork ribs (60 baht). Let's review the rice with pork leg first. Personally, I think the pork leg is soft and has a good aroma. Add a little garlic vinegar and it's delicious. The clear soup with pork bones is also very delicious. The pork bones are stewed until soft and tender. The soup has a well-rounded flavor. It is worthy of being awarded the Michelin Guide. The shop is located on Prachasongkhro Road, Din Daeng District. You can pin the shop name on Google.

Zaab Only is a local Isan restaurant that is considered the most delicious in this area. Zaab Only is located on Sukkasem Road, Din Daeng Subdistrict. 🔥A hidden khanom jeen shop in an old bicycle shop. Walking past it, you would hardly know that it was a newly opened khanom jeen shop in Prachasongkhro Soi 2. The shop doesn't have a name yet, but it's in Asia Bicycle Shop. But the taste is sooo good! So rich and satisfying. Plus, there's a vegetable buffet!✨ 🌈The shop has coconut milk curry, jungle curry, green curry, chili paste and southern curry, poured over khanom jeen in a very rich way. It's so rich that eating it with khanom jeen is even more amazing! It's so awesome! Each plate is 50.- And the shop also has pork crackling chili paste and chicken skin chili paste. Cafe lovers shouldn't miss this place, 'FigureGround Cafe'. A cafe with a cool atmosphere like sitting in an art gallery. This place has an equally cool concept: Coffee: Space: Relationship 💚The shop's design is in green, white, and black tones, contrasting with red and orange chairs. You can tell that the shop has come up with a perfect concept and mood and tone. People who come here will dress in green, white, and black to match the shop. 📷Another cool corner of the shop is the Foto Automate, a sticker photo booth where you can take cool pictures with your friends. I must say that you will enjoy taking pictures at every corner. ☕️As for the shop's menu that we ordered, it was Lovesick, a Peanut juice with coffee on top. Drinking it makes you feel refreshed and awake. Another one that everyone shouldn't miss is Choco Darkside, one of the signature drinks. It's delicious and has a full, rich cocoa flavor. Because it is made from 100% Swiss cocoa, sweetened with the shop's homemade chocolate ice cream, very rich 💵Cost Price for 2 drinks 320 baht, cake 140 baht 📌 figureground.cafe Open Daily Mon-Thu 8:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. Bangkok, Thailand, is a city where sophisticated urban energy blends with a somewhat retro downtown vibe. During your trip, have you ever felt, "I've been eating out a lot lately and feel a bit heavy..." or "I want to recharge with fresh, delicious veggies and smartly refresh myself!"? For health-conscious adult women traveling alone, a must-visit is "Salad Buri," a stylish, hidden organic cafe nestled in a residential area of Din Daeng. Located in a quiet alley on Soi Trakun Suk, this shop offers a clean, warm, and cozy space that makes you forget the hustle and bustle outside the moment you step inside. It's highly appealing for its welcoming atmosphere, making it easy for a solo female traveler to pop in and relax at her own pace without worrying about the eyes of others. As the name "Salad" suggests, the cafe prides itself on a menu packed with fresh vegetables delivered straight from the farm. But there's a unique signature dish here that particularly captivates many health-minded travelers. That is their "Special Sandwich," which surprises everyone the moment they take a bite. The biggest shock is the "bread" holding the ingredients! Completely different from regular sandwich bread or baguettes, it uses a new-texture bread that is pure white, fine-grained, and incredibly "chewy and fluffy," reminiscent of warm Chinese steamed bun (mantou) dough. This white bread, with its subtle and gentle sweetness, amazingly brings out the deliciousness of the fillings. And beautifully and lavishly sandwiched between the bread is an abundance of fresh, juicy vegetables. What's truly wonderful about Salad Buri is that it's not just a simple sandwich with raw vegetables; it's carefully crafted without any compromise. For example, the carrots inside are boiled to perfection, maximizing the natural sweetness and soft texture of the ingredient. The exquisite combination of crisp, fresh leafy greens, a special umami-packed sauce, and boiled veggies pairs perfectly with the chewy white bread 🥺 Despite its surprising volume, it doesn't feel heavy at all. Thanks to the freshness and deliciousness of the vegetables, it's a wonder how even a solo female diner can easily gobble it up to the very last bite without getting tired of it. Despite the time and effort put into it and the use of body-friendly, top-quality organic ingredients, it is offered at a wallet-friendly, reasonable local price that you wouldn't expect in Bangkok, making for an overwhelming value for money! You could never find this price in the Thong Lo or Asok areas... The staff are also very kind and welcoming, so even if it's your first time visiting a cafe alone overseas, you can smartly recharge your energy while enveloped in a sense of security as if you've returned home. It's an authentic, unpretentious healthy cafe that you can only find in the Din Daeng district, slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you want to gently reset your mind and body during your trip, definitely visit "Salad Buri" and experience a moment of pure bliss 🫶 🥗 Salad Buri 📌 670 52 Soi Trakun Suk, Din Daeng, Bangkok 10400, Thailand

I took a friend out to enjoy some trendy suki. You could say the buffet-style suki scene is booming right now, so I want to recommend another great spot where you don't have to wait in line because the restaurant is huge! We went to Lucky Suki at The Prom Din Daeng branch, a newly opened mall in the Din Daeng area. Lucky Suki offers a massive variety of fresh ingredients. They have absolutely everything—pork, beef, and seafood 🦑🐟🐙🦀🦐🦞, plus a wide selection of vegetables served right to your order. On top of that, there's a snack bar packed with fried foods, as well as unlimited drinks and ice. I highly recommend giving this place a try. No queues, just walk right in and enjoy! #Get a discount without relying on luck Review of MJ Nam Neung, Ratchada 3 Branch Today, I was walking around Ratchada-Din Daeng and stumbled upon a newly opened, somewhat hidden Vietnamese-Isaan restaurant. Seeing the Nam Neung on the menu, I didn't hesitate because it's one of my favorite dishes, so I stopped by to try it. First, the medium Nam Neung set (350 baht). This set was great value. The pork slices were large, thick, and grilled to perfection. The vegetables were fresh and plentiful, and the dipping sauce was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweetness, sourness, and saltiness. It paired perfectly with the rice noodles and rice paper. Next, Som Tum (papaya salad). You can order it to your liking – medium, spicy, or extra spicy Isaan style – they can make it just right. The taste today was spicy and didn't disappoint. Another favorite dish was Nam Tok Moo (spicy pork salad). This dish was more of an original recipe with all the ingredients, great flavor, and a fragrant roasted rice aroma. The pork was tender. It was a very enjoyable dish. Overall, this meal cost around 300-400 baht per person, which is very reasonable. The restaurant has a casual and friendly atmosphere. It's not crowded right now, perfect for chilling out or having a relaxing dinner. Location: 670 439-670/438 Thanon Asok - Din Daeng, Din Daeng Subdistrict, Din Daeng District, Bangkok 10400
