🌴Kids👫, today I'm going to share with you a hidden gem in Brazil - Florianópolis🎉! This place is simply a paradise on earth, making people linger on😍. 🌊【Stunning Beaches, Encounter Romance】 Florianópolis has 42 stunning beaches😲! Each one has its unique charm. For example, the bustling Joaquina Beach, which is a paradise for surfers🏄‍, with surging waves, full of challenges and passion. Young people here are full of energy, showing off their superb surfing skills, making people can't help but cheer for them👏. There is also Praia Mole, where the delicate beach and clear sea complement each other, whether it is sunbathing on the beach🌞, or strolling by the sea listening to the sound of the waves, it is extremely comfortable. For those who like quietness, Daniela Beach is an excellent choice. There are relatively few tourists here, and the sea is calmer, making it a good place to enjoy a quiet time😌. 🏰【Historical Sites, Witness the Years】 The history of this city can be traced back to a long time ago, leaving many precious historical sites🕍. The Fortaleza de Sant’Ana do Estreito stands quietly by the sea, as if telling the story of the past. The ancient city walls and mottled turrets are all full of historical vicissitudes. Walking into the fortress, it seems to travel back to the era of war, which makes people awe at the history of this city😮. There is also Fortaleza de São José da Ponta Grossa, which witnessed the development and changes of Florianópolis, and is an important window to understand the history of this city📜. 🍤【Food Paradise, Feast of Taste Buds】 As a "City of Gastronomy" certified by UNESCO, the food in Florianópolis is definitely not to be missed😋! The seafood cuisine here is absolutely amazing. The fresh shrimp soup (Moqueca de Camarão), the shrimp is tender and juicy, and the soup is rich and mellow. Every bite makes people indulge in the deliciousness of the ocean🥘. Grilled mullet (Tainha Assada) is also a local specialty. The mullet is roasted to be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. With the special sauce, the taste is incredibly delicious🐟.

When most people think of Brazil, the first images are usually Christ the Redeemer, Copacabana Beach and Carnival in Rio. And yes, Rio absolutely deserves a spot on a Brazil itinerary. But Brazil is enormous, and stopping at Rio means seeing only one tiny piece of it. 👀🇧🇷 This is a country where you can walk across giant white sand dunes filled with turquoise lagoons, search for jaguars in the wetlands, hike through table-top mountains, explore colonial towns, disappear into the Amazon rainforest and still finish the trip on some of the most beautiful beaches in South America. Whatever kind of traveler you are, there’s probably a completely different version of Brazil waiting for you. 🌊 1. Lençóis Maranhenses: Brazil’s desert that fills with lagoons This might be one of the most surreal landscapes in South America. Lençóis Maranhenses National Park is covered in enormous white sand dunes, but during the wetter part of the year, rainwater collects between them and forms thousands of seasonal lagoons. The result looks almost impossible. White dunes stretching toward the horizon with clear blue and green pools sitting between them. 😭💙 You can explore by 4x4, walk across the dunes and swim in some of the lagoons when conditions are right. This is definitely somewhere I’d plan around the season rather than simply turning up at any random time of year, because the lagoon levels change significantly. Best for: unreal landscapes, photography and adventure. 🐆 2. The Pantanal: for wildlife lovers If seeing animals in the wild is high on your bucket list, put the Pantanal very high on the Brazil list. This enormous wetland stretches across parts of Brazil and neighboring countries and is one of South America’s greatest wildlife destinations. Depending on where and when you visit, you might encounter capybaras, caimans, giant otters, colorful birds and, if you’re incredibly lucky, jaguars. 🐆 Unlike dense rainforest, the more open landscapes can sometimes make wildlife easier to spot. This isn’t really a destination where I’d rush around independently trying to collect attractions. I’d choose a good wildlife lodge or guided experience and let the environment be the itinerary. Best for: safaris, birdwatching and wildlife photography. 🌿 3. The Amazon: a completely different Brazil The Amazon is one of those destinations that almost feels too big to understand until you’re actually there. Manaus is one of the major gateways into the Brazilian Amazon, but the real experience begins once you leave the city and travel deeper toward the river and rainforest. Think boat journeys, jungle lodges, wildlife walks, canoe trips, night excursions and waking up surrounded by sounds you definitely don’t hear at home. 😂🌿 One of the region’s famous natural sights is the Meeting of Waters, where the dark Rio Negro and lighter Solimões flow alongside each other before fully mixing. For me, an Amazon trip wouldn’t be about ticking off ten attractions in one day. It would be about slowing down, getting away from cities and actually spending time in the ecosystem. Best for: nature, wildlife and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. 💦 4. Foz do Iguaçu: waterfalls on an unbelievable scale You can watch videos of Iguaçu Falls all day and still not really understand the size of it. The waterfall system sits along the Brazil-Argentina border and consists of numerous cascades spread across a huge area. The Brazilian side is especially good for panoramic views, while many travelers combine it with the Argentine side for a closer experience. Either way, prepare to get wet. 😂 This is one of those attractions where I’d happily put my phone away for a few minutes because the sound and scale are half the experience. Best for: dramatic nature without a multi-day expedition. 🏛️ 5. Salvador: history, culture and seriously good food If you want history, music, color and food in the same destination, Salvador deserves much more attention. The historic Pelourinho area is filled with colorful colonial buildings, churches, cobbled streets and plazas. But Salvador is also deeply connected to Afro-Brazilian history and culture, which influences everything from religion and music to dance and cuisine. This is somewhere I’d come hungry. Look out for Bahian dishes such as acarajé, moqueca and vatapá. And don’t just walk around taking photos of colorful houses. Give yourself time to understand the history behind the city because that context completely changes the experience. Best for: culture, history, music and food. ⛰️ 6. Chapada Diamantina: Brazil for hikers Brazil isn’t only beaches and rainforest. Head inland toward Chapada Diamantina National Park and suddenly you’re surrounded by mountains, plateaus, caves, waterfalls and trekking routes. This is where adventure travelers can spend days hiking instead of lying beside the ocean. Expect massive viewpoints, hidden swimming spots and dramatic valleys. Some routes are manageable as day trips, while others are better suited to multi-day trekking. If you’re someone who looks at a giant mountain and immediately thinks, “I want to climb that,” this is probably your Brazil. 😂🥾 Best for: hiking, waterfalls and outdoor adventure. 🏝️ 7. Fernando de Noronha: the dream-island version of Brazil This is where the tropical beach fantasy becomes very real. Fernando de Noronha is an Atlantic archipelago known for dramatic coastlines, incredibly clear water and marine life. Think snorkeling, diving, beaches framed by volcanic landscapes and water that looks almost unreal in the right conditions. Because the islands are environmentally sensitive and visitor activities are regulated, this is somewhere to research properly before traveling rather than treating it like a spontaneous beach stop. It can also be significantly more expensive than many mainland Brazilian destinations. But if your dream trip revolves around ocean experiences rather than cities, this one belongs on the bucket list. Best for: diving, snorkeling and special-occasion beach trips. 🏖️ 8. Jericoacoara: dunes, lagoons and slow beach days Want tropical Brazil without a giant city? Jericoacoara, usually shortened to Jeri, has sand dunes, lagoons, beaches and that barefoot holiday energy where time stops mattering. The journey there takes a little more effort than arriving in a big resort town, but that’s part of what keeps it feeling different. Days can involve swimming, dune excursions, kitesurfing or basically doing absolutely nothing until sunset. And honestly, sometimes “watch sunset and eat dinner” is a perfectly valid itinerary. 😂🌅 Best for: slow travel, beaches and watersports. 🏘️ 9. Ouro Preto: step into colonial Brazil Not every Brazil trip needs tropical scenery. Ouro Preto offers steep cobbled streets, ornate churches and beautifully preserved colonial architecture surrounded by the hills of Minas Gerais. It’s a completely different atmosphere from Rio, São Paulo or Brazil’s beach towns. This is somewhere I’d explore slowly on foot, although those hills will absolutely make you earn your dinner. 😭 The wider Minas Gerais region is also famous for food, so definitely leave space for local specialties while you’re there. Best for: architecture, history and slower cultural travel. 🏄 10. Florianópolis: city + beach in one trip If you can’t decide between a city break and a beach holiday, Florianópolis gives you both. Located mostly on Santa Catarina Island in southern Brazil, the destination has dozens of beaches, hiking routes, surfing spots, lagoons and neighborhoods with different personalities. You can spend one day exploring the city, another hiking to a quieter beach and the next basically doing nothing beside the water. It’s also a good reminder that Brazil’s beach culture stretches WAY beyond Rio. Best for: surfing, beaches and travelers who want variety. ✨ And this still barely scratches the surface You could also build entire trips around Paraty, Recife, Olinda, São Paulo, Brasília, Ilha Grande, Bonito, Chapada dos Veadeiros and countless smaller coastal towns. That’s what makes planning Brazil difficult in the best possible way. You’re not really choosing between ten attractions. You’re choosing between completely different types of trips. Want wildlife? Pantanal. Want rainforest? Amazon. Want beaches? Fernando de Noronha or Jericoacoara. Want hiking? Chapada Diamantina. Want culture and food? Salvador. Want something that looks almost fake? Lençóis Maranhenses. Want one of the world’s great waterfalls? Iguaçu. 🗺️ My biggest Brazil planning tip Do not underestimate the distances. Brazil is huge. A destination that looks like “the next stop” on a map might require a flight rather than a quick bus or train journey. If you only have 7 to 10 days, I’d choose two or three regions and experience them properly instead of trying to cross half the country. For a first trip, something like: Rio de Janeiro → Iguaçu Falls → Salvador would already give you three completely different sides of Brazil. With more time, add the Amazon, Pantanal or one of the northeast beach destinations. And if you have several weeks? That’s when Brazil becomes dangerous because suddenly you’ll want to see everything. 😂🇧🇷 🍽️ Don’t forget the food Brazilian food also changes significantly depending on where you travel. You might be eating seafood-heavy Bahian cuisine in Salvador, Amazonian ingredients in the north, Minas Gerais comfort food inland and churrasco farther south. So please don’t finish the trip having eaten only one version of Brazilian barbecue. 😭 Part of exploring Brazil is tasting how different each region can be. That’s really why I think Brazil deserves much more than one quick stop in Rio. Coast. Wetlands. Rainforest. Mountains. Desert-like dunes. Historic cities. Islands. Waterfalls. It almost feels like several countries inside one border. And honestly, choosing where to go first might be the hardest part. 🇧🇷✨ 📌 Save this guide for your future Brazil trip. If someone gave you a flight tomorrow, which one are you choosing first: Amazon 🌿, Pantanal 🐆, Lençóis Maranhenses 💙, Iguaçu Falls 💦 or Fernando de Noronha 🏝️? #brazil #braziltravel #visitbrazil #southamericatravel #braziltrip #travelbrazil #amazonrainforest #pantanal #iguazufalls #lencoismaranhenses #salvadorbrazil #fernandodenoronha #brazilbeaches #adventuretravel #travelinspiration

Florianópolis has more than 40 beaches, and after spending time exploring the island, I realized something: You can't really “do Florianópolis” in one summer. The beaches aren't all the same either. Depending on where you go, you can find completely different landscapes, waves, water conditions, neighborhoods and atmospheres. 🏖️ North of the island More infrastructure, restaurants, hotels and beaches with calmer water, such as Jurerê and Canasvieiras. 🌊 East A very different vibe, with beaches like Joaquina and the beaches around Lagoa da Conceição, especially popular for surfing and outdoor activities. 🌿 South More preserved landscapes, fishing communities and beaches such as Armação and Pântano do Sul. This is also where you'll find some of the island's more secluded experiences. 🏝️ And then there are the beaches that require a little more effort to reach. Some are accessed by trails or boats, which means you can't simply drive around and check them all off in a day. That's what makes Florianópolis so interesting for a summer trip. You can come back and have a completely different beach experience every time. So instead of trying to visit every beach, I'd choose a region or a few beaches based on the kind of day you want. And honestly, after one summer, you'll probably still have a long list left. 😂 If you had one summer in Florianópolis, which beach would you choose first? 🇧🇷☀️ #summerinonecut

City of capybaras, alligators and monkeys

I have spent my vacation here for the third time! Many heartfelt thanks to the Posh Club staff, especially the Posh restaurant manager Ahmed Maher and my lovely butler Habiba 💚, who were so kind and attentive to me. Great job and an amazing place 🥰 P.S. Habiba, you stole my heart ❤️

Most tourists visiting Florianópolis head straight to the island’s famous beaches. I decided to explore Coqueiros instead, a neighborhood on the mainland of Florianópolis, just across the bay from the island. It’s not usually a beach destination for swimming. The small beaches along this part of the coast have bathing restrictions, but that doesn’t make the area any less beautiful. In fact, the waterfront is one of the reasons I loved exploring this side of the city. I didn't have a guide. I didn't have a sightseeing list. I just followed the coastline. 🌊 Praia do Riso 🌿 Praia da Saudade 🌴 Praia do Meio 🪨 Praia de Itaguaçu These beaches are connected by the waterfront, making Coqueiros a great area to explore on foot rather than simply stopping at one beach. The route also has a very different atmosphere from Florianópolis’ famous beach neighborhoods. There are walking areas, restaurants, views across the bay and plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery. And then comes Itaguaçu, the most distinctive part of the walk. Dozens of huge granite rocks rise from the water, creating one of the most recognizable landscapes on the mainland. The name itself comes from Tupi and means “big stone.” There’s also a famous Florianópolis legend about these rocks: according to local folklore, they are witches who were turned to stone after a forbidden party. 🧙♀️ Coqueiros also has an interesting history. The area became a popular seaside leisure destination for Florianópolis families in the early 20th century, with piers, clubs, restaurants and bathing areas developing along the coast. Today, you can experience the same waterfront at a much slower pace. A few useful things to know: 📍 Coqueiros is on the mainland of Florianópolis, not on Ilha de Santa Catarina. 🚶 The beaches are close enough to explore as a coastal walk, so you don't need to treat them as separate destinations. 🏊 Don't come here expecting Florianópolis’ typical swimming beach experience. Check the current official bathing-water conditions before entering the water. 🍽️ The waterfront is also known for its restaurants, making it easy to turn the walk into a longer afternoon or evening. 🌅 Itaguaçu is especially worth stopping at for the landscape and the views, even if you're not planning to swim. This wasn't one of the famous “must-see” places I had on my list. I simply followed the sea and ended up discovering a completely different side of Florianópolis. And honestly, that's exactly what I love about slow travel. 🇧🇷 Would you visit a coastal neighborhood even if the beaches weren't suitable for swimming? #slowtraveling #seaview

Brazil is the largest country in South America and offers a wide variety of travel options, from coastal cities and world-class beaches to waterfalls, the Amazon rainforest, ancient cities, and spectacular natural landscapes. However, travel and accommodation costs are quite high. ⸻ ✨ If you're a first-time traveler to Brazil, we recommend: 🏖️ First time → Rio de Janeiro 🏙️ Big city + food + shopping → São Paulo 💦 World-class waterfall → Iguazu Falls 🌳 Amazon rainforest → Manaus 🎨 Colorful city + culture → Salvador 🏜️ Unseen nature → Lençóis Maranhenses 🐆 Wildlife → Pantanal 🏝️ World-class beautiful beach → Fernando de Noronha If you have 8-10 days, we recommend the route Rio de Janeiro → Foz do Iguaçu → São Paulo, which covers landmarks, big cities, beaches, and waterfalls. If you have 12-14 days, you can add Manaus + Amazon or Salvador. It's recommended to use domestic flights as Brazil is very large. 🇧🇷✨ #ByMySide #BrazilTravel #RioDeJaneiro #IguazuFalls #SaoPaulo #Amazon #Manaus #SouthAmerica #SouthAmericaTravel #BrazilBudgetTravel #InternationalTravel #NatureTherapy #MissingNature

If you’re visiting Florianópolis, save this one. There’s a short coastal trail in Barra da Lagoa that takes you to the famous natural pools — and getting there is actually pretty easy. How to get there: Head to Barra da Lagoa and cross the bridge over the canal. Turn left and follow the little residential streets toward Prainha da Barra. Keep going until you reach the trail entrance, where signs point you toward the natural pools. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk. I found the trail really safe, peaceful and easy to follow. Most of the way is open and well marked, with beautiful views of the coastline along the way. But here’s something I wish I had known before going: The natural pools depend on the sea conditions. 🌊 When we went, the ocean was too rough, so we couldn’t actually see the calm natural pools I had expected. The area is made up of rocks along the coast, and when the sea is calmer, the water fills the rocky formations and creates the “pools” you see in photos. So if swimming is your main goal, check the tide and sea conditions before you go. Even without the pools, I thought the hike was worth it. And there was a little surprise at the end: a small stand selling drinks and snacks — perfect for a little break after the walk. What I’d know before going: · Around 20 minutes each way · Easy trail, but wear shoes with good grip · Follow the signs — the trail is well marked · Bring water, sunscreen and a swimsuit · Check the tide + sea conditions before going · Be careful around the rocks — they can be slippery · Don’t rush: the coastal views are part of the experience Have you ever hiked somewhere only to find out that the conditions weren’t right for the main attraction? 👀 #hiking #beach

#skylinescapes I’ve seen the Hercílio Luz Bridge from so many different angles, but I think this might be my favorite. There’s something about seeing the bridge stretching across the water with Florianópolis in the background that never gets old. It’s especially beautiful around sunset, when the light changes the whole view. If you’re visiting Florianópolis, don’t just cross the bridge — stop and take a moment to actually look at it. This is one of those views that makes me understand why I love this city.

The service at the Posh Club was excellent. All the staff were very friendly, and the attention from the chefs was wonderful. Hassan, in particular, took special care of us, being very approachable and quick to assist in every way. Overall, it’s a hotel we can highly recommend—very clean, comfortable, and a great place to spend enjoyable time.

The place where my family visited for 10 days was truly amazing. The food was fantastic, with a variety of restaurants offering cuisines like Greek, Thai, Chinese, and more. We stayed in the premium segment, the Posh Club, where our rooms had swimming pools, and the coast was just 30 meters away, making it extremely convenient. The staff did an outstanding job. They organized diverse entertainment, including yoga sessions, kids' discos, and parties for adults. Every day, we knew exactly what activities were scheduled because the hotel staff personally invited us and provided all the details. It’s also a very quiet place to stay, perfect for anyone needing a break from the daily noisy routine. It's an ideal spot to relax, swim, enjoy delicious food, and escape from everyday responsibilities. Thanks to everyone who made our vacation so interesting and unforgettable!

10/10 vacations but they get increasingly more niche. #travel #niche

My perfect summer morning starts with no alarms and no rush. Just a long breakfast on the balcony of an Airbnb in Barra da Lagoa, Florianópolis, overlooking the canal as fishing boats drift by, with the ocean sparkling in the distance. Sometimes, slowing down is the best part of traveling. What does your ideal summer breakfast look like? A quiet balcony, a beachfront café, or breakfast with a mountain view?

A perfect summer day for me starts on a trail in Florianópolis. Hiking through the Atlantic Forest, climbing to viewpoints where green mountains meet the deep blue ocean, and enjoying landscapes that make every step worthwhile. The best part? Many of these trails end at secluded beaches, where a refreshing swim feels like the perfect reward after the hike. If you could spend one summer day outdoors, what would you choose: a scenic hike with an ocean view, a quiet beach, or a completely different adventure?

If you had asked me what my perfect summer day looked like while I was living in Florianópolis, the answer would have been easy: ➡️ Wake up early, pick a trail, and end the day with a swim in the ocean! That's one of the reasons I loved living in Floripa. The island is full of hiking trails, and many of them reward you with incredible viewpoints or beaches that can only be reached on foot. 📍 The photo was taken from Morro do Lampião, in Campeche It's a relatively easy hike with about 240 meters of elevation, taking around 40 to 60 minutes to reach the top, depending on your pace. The reward? A panoramic view over Campeche Beach, Joaquina, and the stunning Ilha do Campeche, whose turquoise waters almost look tropical on sunny days 🤩 My other two favorite hikes are Lagoinha do Leste and Naufragados. They're longer than Morro do Lampião, but finishing the hike by relaxing on a quiet beach and jumping into the sea makes every step worthwhile... ☀️ Summer is my favorite season for these hikes. With average daytime temperatures around 28°C (82°F) in Florianópolis, an early morning start or a late afternoon hike helps you avoid the strongest sun while still enjoying clear skies, beautiful views, and the perfect excuse to cool off in the ocean afterward. For me, that's the definition of a perfect summer day in Florianópolis: A little adventure, a beautiful view, and a refreshing swim before heading home 🌊😎 Do you enjoy hiking in the summer? What's your favorite way to spend a hot sunny day? #howislivingthere

· Step 1: Book one night at a hotel 🏨 · Step 2: Head to the rooftop pool 🏊♀️ · Step 3: Add an ocean view 🌊 · Step 4: Enjoy a perfect summer day ☀️😎 That was my recipe for a perfect summer day when I was living in Florianópolis, Brazil. Instead of planning a big trip, I booked one night at Novotel Florianópolis, a hotel right across from the waterfront with a rooftop pool overlooking the bay. The funniest part? During check-in, I had to give my home address... which was only a few minutes away 😂 The day was exactly what I needed. I spent hours relaxing by the rooftop pool, cooling off from the summer heat, and admiring the ocean views. It felt like a real vacation, even though I never left the city. That experience showed me that taking a break and enjoying summer doesn't always require a long journey. A simple change of scenery was enough to recharge and turn an ordinary weekend into one of my favorite summer memories! So tell me: What's your idea of a perfect summer day? Have you ever booked a hotel room in your own city just to enjoy the pool? #howislivingthere

Sharing our impressions of the holiday at Posh Club: Airport greeting – 5 stars. Swift check-in – 5 stars. Room 6224 – simply top-notch, a stunning 5++++++. Restaurant – 5++++ with impeccable service both in the restaurant and on the beach – 5 ++++++++. Personal manager Hasan was extremely attentive and kind – 5+++++. Animation throughout the hotel – 5 stars. Room cleaning – 5 stars. Special mention to the exceptional quality and variety of dishes in the restaurant, wonderful presentation, and luxurious tableware. The waitstaff, bartenders, managers, and chef truly deserve praise and recognition! The beach staff showed incredible attentiveness too. Overall, we can confidently say we made the right choice in selecting Posh Club for this holiday, especially as we're already familiar with the Sun Rise Remal Beach hotel, having stayed here in 2025. With gratitude, KOSAI VALERII KOSAI EVGENIYA.

We recently enjoyed an amazing holiday at the resort, and it became even more special when we got engaged during our stay! From the start, check-in was smooth, quick, and welcoming, which set the perfect tone for the trip. The service throughout the resort was outstanding, with staff consistently friendly, attentive, and eager to assist. One area for improvement would be the vegan food options, specifically the labelling across all restaurants. As a vegan guest, I occasionally struggled to identify suitable dishes. While the staff kindly assured us they could prepare almost anything upon request, I would have preferred having more clearly labelled vegan choices readily available on menus and buffets. After sharing this feedback, we were graciously upgraded to the Posh Club, dramatically enhancing our experience. The vegan options there were excellent, and the chef went above and beyond to prepare additional dishes to order. Special recognition is due to the Posh Club and main buffet restaurant teams, whose service was exceptional throughout our stay. The lifeguard was incredibly attentive, assisting with towels and adjusting parasols throughout the day for guests’ comfort. Similarly, the bar staff were delightful—always friendly and efficient—and the chef worked diligently to cater to dietary needs. The highlight of our holiday was undoubtedly our engagement. The staff at the Posh Club helped my fiancé organize the most magical and memorable dinner, making the occasion truly unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making our stay so special. Despite the challenges with vegan labelling, we had a fantastic holiday and left with cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

📍 Place: Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil ✨ What it felt like: I liked how the city seems to work for different budgets without losing its calm beach feeling. From local buses and simple stays to boat tours and oceanfront hotels, Florianopolis still feels centered around the sea, views, and slow days outside. 👀 What stood out: The beaches are the main highlight, and many of them can be enjoyed without spending much. Lagoa da Conceicao looks like a useful base with cafés, restaurants, and access to tours, while Centro is practical for transport. Food can stay simple with pastel, acai, bakeries, and local restaurants, or become more special with seafood and sunset dining. 💡 Exclusive tip: I would stay around Lagoa da Conceicao or Centro and start beach days early. The light is better for photos, buses feel easier before peak hours, and you get more quiet time before the beaches fill up. ❤️ Personal feeling: Florianopolis feels like the kind of place where I would slow down with family, enjoy one beach at a time, and end the day watching the sky change over the water. #Florianopolis #Brazil #SantaCatarina #BeachTravel #IslandLife #BudgetTravel #TripMoments #SouthAmerica #SlowTravel #travel2026#travel#couplestrip#thingstodo#citydaytours

This was a heartwarming and touching charity journey. With love and responsibility, we entered a land in need, spreading warmth and hope. We might visit remote mountain areas, delivering books and stationery to children, witnessing the sparkle in their eyes, and feeling the power of knowledge and the light of hope. We might visit elderly people living alone, chatting with them, helping them clean, listening to their long-forgotten stories, and feeling the vicissitudes of time and the resilience of life. This trip was the ultimate practice of love, allowing us to heal our own hearts while helping others. In giving, we learned gratitude and appreciation, tolerance and understanding, and how to find greatness in the ordinary. When we leave with hearts full of gratitude and enrichment, we will find ourselves more kind and compassionate. This journey taught us that the meaning of travel lies not only in the scenery we see, but also in what we can bring to the world—even a tiny glimmer of light can illuminate the world of others. #NewYearDestinations2026 #travel2026

Florianópolis is beautiful year-round, but the experience changes a lot depending on when you visit. 🌸 Spring (September to November): Pleasant temperatures, blooming nature, and fewer crowds. A great balance between weather and tranquility. ☀️ Summer (December to March): Peak season. Expect hot weather, lively beaches, vibrant nightlife, and lots of visitors. 🍁 Autumn (April to May): Warm days, cooler evenings, and much smaller crowds. Many travelers consider this one of the best times to visit. ❄️ Winter (June to August): Cooler temperatures and quieter beaches. Perfect if you're more interested in scenery, food, and local culture than swimming. The biggest surprise for many visitors is that Florianópolis isn't just a beach destination. The island feels completely different from one season to another. Which season would you choose for your first trip to Florianópolis? 🇧🇷

Florianópolis already feels special — ocean air, palm trees, slow evenings. But during December, the city adds something extra: a surprisingly strong Christmas atmosphere right in the center of town. One of the best places to feel it is Beiramar Shopping, located on Avenida Beira-Mar Norte. Easy to reach, central, and unexpectedly festive. Inside, the dedicated Christmas zone feels carefully designed, not rushed. Soft lights, decorated trees, themed installations, and interactive corners turn the space into something closer to a Christmas set than a regular shopping mall. It’s the kind of place where people slow down, take photos, smile a little more. If you enjoy photography, this spot works perfectly — almost every corner feels intentional. The mall stays open late, so it’s easy to visit after sunset, when the lights feel warmer and the atmosphere really settles in. Finish the visit with a stop at the food court: hot chocolate, Brazilian sweets, and a quiet moment to sit and watch the holiday flow around you. Florianópolis may be known for beaches and summer energy, but Christmas at Beiramar Shopping proves the city knows how to do festive warmth too — simple, tasteful, and memorable. #hellochristmas #florianópolis #brazil #travel #familytravel #christmas

Sun, sand, and nonstop energy 🌞 — here’s how I lived it up in Florianopolis at the legendary Joaquina Beach. This Brazilian hotspot totally brought the party vibes, plus my hotel was right on the beach (yes, waking up to the sea every morning = life goals). Must-See Spot: Joaquina Beach Chill out, surf, or just strut your hottest beach style at Joaquina Beach (State of Santa Catarina, Brazil, open 24/7). The scene here? Hot and sexy — everyone’s looking sharp, and the parties spill out from the beach bars well into the night. Early mornings give you uncrowded sands and killer sunrise views, while afternoons crank up the energy with volleyball, surfing, and music. Pro Tips: Book a hotel that’s literally ON Joaquina Beach — nothing beats stepping straight out onto the sand. Pack light but bring your best party outfit; the crowd leans stylish, and spontaneous parties are always popping up! If you’re solo, walking the beach during the day is chill and totally safe, plus there’s plenty of people-watching. Getting Around: Ride-sharing and taxis are everywhere, or grab a rental scooter to zip between beach spots. Quick, cheap, and you won’t need to fuss with parking. Eat & Drink: The beach bars serve epic caipirinhas and seriously fresh seafood — ask for the camarão (shrimp) dish at Bar do Deca, right by the sand. Essential Brazil Hacks: Don’t stress visas for most travelers — but check in advance. Cash is handy for beachside buys, but most shops take cards. #FloripaVibes #BrazilBeachLife #JoaquinaBeach #SunnyEscape
