The Bashan Village Tea Garden only truly reveals its beauty at the tail end of spring. I was looking for a quiet spot to relax around Hangzhou, and came across Fuyang- a lovely little town just 1 hour away from Hangzhou by car. There are plenty of newly-built homestays within walking distance to the ancient part of the town with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. During the day, there's a lot of local street food, and a couple of cute cafes to take a rest.
