《🇳🇱Hoorn Nostalgic Steam Train》 Hoorn is a port city located in the north of Amsterdam. The most famous here are the retro steam trains and the steam train museum. And its steam trains are not just for decoration, they can really start and carry passengers!! But because we modern urbanites just want to experience the feeling of grandma riding a steam train in the past, the steam train only stops at Hoorn ➡️ Medemblik. But the lovely thing is that at these two stations, there will be drivers, stationmasters and station attendants dressed in retro clothes to help you, and there will even be some passers-by wearing retro clothes, waving goodbye to you when the train starts to leave the station. Most of these people are former employees of the station who volunteered to come here as volunteers after retirement, and "waving goodbye at the station" is a tradition here, so these lovely grandpas and grandmas all volunteered to come back after retirement to let us tourists experience the sense of the times🥰🥰🥰 The steam train experience trip is only open from April to October every year, and there are only 2 round trips a day, so if you are friends who come to the Netherlands during this season, you might as well experience a nostalgic steam train trip~ #Good place for parents and children #Holland travel #Hoorn #Steam train
