Getting There - Travel from Shanghai to Lishui city is possible by train and takes around 3-4 hours depending on what train you take. Train tickets vary in price but a 2nd class seat will cost approximately 170-220RMB. Heyang Ancient Village is 60km (40mile) drive from Lishui and takes around an hour. Arranging a private driver is relatively easy and can be done through most hotels. We hired a driver for the entire day which cost around 1000RMB, shared between 4 people, and was very comfortable and convenient.
