2025 Mondulkiri Province Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in August)

Bousra Waterfall is an Eco park located at Pechda District, Mondulkiri Province, Cambodia. It’s the best tourist attraction for this province. Bousra waterfall is divided into 3 stages. Normally, people always go to the first stage. The second stage is 150 meters from the first stage where waterfall fall is 15 to 20 meters high. Whereas the third stages can’t be reached by tourist because it’s in the thick forest which has no paths toward there. Going to this park is a bit crowded. Souvenirs are sold along the ways. There’re also fruits and natural products sold by Jun Cheat ( the minorities ). Food are available there, yet guesthouse or bungalows, we need to find nearby. Tips for those who prefer nice photography: please don’t go during National vacations, otherwise, there will be crowded people playing the waterfall. Or you guys should be rush reaching there before 8 am.

Mondulkiri is the largest province in Cambodia, yet less populations comparing to other provinces. It’s located at the eastern part of the country. This attractive province consists of thick forested mountains, high strong waterfalls, green rolling hills, thousands hectares of rubber plantations, pepper plantation , and hundred hectares of coffee plantations. Due to those green nature resources, it makes this province get cold weather. Senmonorom is the town of Mondulkiri. If you guys wanna search for resort or other attractions, please type Senmonorom to get more information. I strongly recommend you all to visit during December to February if you would like to taste the cold weather in Cambodia. And , you may go during June to November if you wanna enjoy the green environment view. This resort is just newly opened. It’s located at the top of the mountain. The road toward this resort is fine. I am really proud of the resort design. The big wooden resort design from the flank to the top of the mountain. If you stand at the top , you will enjoy the best surrounding Mountain View. Moreover, if you stand at the downhill, you will enjoy the big great wooden house design, as well as the pool, and forest. Every tourist guests can visit there by just spending 3$ at the gate. It’s not expensive at all because you can exchange that 3$ ticket for one drink 🥤 at the restaurant. #mondulkiriprovince #hilltop view and resort

This restaurant is located inside KN&N resort. Actually it’s not a popular for people living there. There’re normally tourists guest from other side of the country who stay at the resort loving for meals there. There are Cambodian dishes , European and Chinese dishes in the menu. Some are not available for sometimes. The taste is ok. The chief there is from Siem Reap, so there are similar menu as Siem Reap restaurant. The service is good, yet a bit late because there are not many staff members there. The restaurant design is simply nice and clean. The roof top seats provide you better view. Whereas the price is acceptable like many others resort restaurants.

A private villa resort in Senmonorom, Mondulkiri province , Cambodia. I stayed at this resort during my visit in February. The road toward this resort is nice and surrounded by special view. However, if you are standing inside the resort campus , you will not really enjoy the nature view. The room is clean but the decoration is not my type 🤭. The furnitures look not modern at all. The pool isn’t clean during my visit. I think it’s might be because the grass burning 🔥 nearby. The weather is so cool during November until February. Don’t forget to bring jacket so that you can stay outside longer to enjoy the view and weather. I am a bit disappointed with the buffet breakfast there. There were little menu and they didn’t served us on time. They should had been well prepared for their customer. Guest were standing and waiting for the meals , when one menu dropped, guest need to rush to get it 🤔. One more thing, breakfast has little European dishes.

The Hangout 📍Hangout Street, Krong Saen Monourom, Mondulkiri The store is not big and is surrounded by many plants, which makes it very chill. The restaurant offers Western and Cambodian cuisine, and the Western cuisine is quite surprising. The steak portions were satisfying and the Chicken Parmie was delicious, full of Parmesan cheese, ham and chicken steak, it was very satisfying in one bite. Sea Forest 📍F5WM+6CW, 141, Krong Saen Monourom, Mondulkiri Sea Forest is a must-visit spot for Mondulkiri tourism, with a bird's eye view of the endless mountains of Mondulkiri on a plateau of 808 meters. You can choose to sit at Sea Forest Coffee, enjoy a cup of coffee (about 2 USD), quietly appreciate the sky and the earth, the mountains and the clouds, and breathe in the negative ion air.
