Taronga Zoo Sydney Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Last visited 28 December 2022 so thought I'd share a review on here. Fabulous zoo!! Far better than any zoo's in NZ. Cost is only NZ$50 (or about AU$44) and that included the gondola. Return ferry to Circular Quay - public transport is dirt cheap (Opal) compared with NZ. Bird and Seal Show is wonderful. Though the seal show line is super long, we still managed to get a seat for the first time at the front. It'll be great if this zoo could order heaps of size L t-shirts for men and a variety especially for the summer holidays. Good thing we visited before they closed the gondola for renovations. Weather was beautiful. A day trip well worth it. We'll be back in Syd end of this year (late December) for a solid 2 weeks. With plans to visit the Gold Coast for the 1st time, end of next year (end of 2024)... AL from New Zealand.#familytravel #mytripvlog
Amazing Day spent at 📍Taronga Zoo Sydney📍

One of the best zoo’s I’ve visited over the years! The timing of our trip was perfect! When a koala bear sleeps 20 hours a day, how lucky can you get when you can see the Koala climbing the tree.
I’m additional, all of the animals were lively and actively moving around in their environment.
The animal exhibits were very close, making it easier to see the animals.
If you make the trip, take the bus to the zoo and return back to the city via ferry for the scenic views of the bridge and opera house.

Taronga Zoo
Great day at the zoo without being at home. Lots to see and extremely interesting live shows. Recommend downloading the app to plan what time the shots are on. We took the bus from the city as it stops at the main entrance at the highest point of the zoo and made our way slowly downhill to the ferry. Saved our energy for the walk around the zoo. #passionpassport

✅🔜[Sydney Harbour]
🔜🔺Taking a boat in Sydney Harbour is the best viewpoint to appreciate Sydney. 🚣♀️Although riding a cruise ship is not as comfortable as boating on a lake, watching the busy ships on both sides of Sydney Harbour, 🌃the beautiful city scenery on both sides, and the famous landmarks of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge floating in front of you, you will find another kind of pleasure called beautiful scenery around you.
Sydney is wonderful, the people in Australia are so friendly. The flight over from the USA is long, so when you visit plan to stay at least 2-3 weeks. You can easily spend 4-5 days in Sydney alone. The Harbor area is one of my favorite parts of the city. You can book tours to go boating to get a view of the city from a different perspective. #happynewyear

Absolutely loved it here. Went on a great sunny day. Was looking for umbrellas or beach chairs but non were in sight so bring your own. If you keep walking past the rocks on the right side you’ll find a nice walk way to water crashing on more rocks very cool scenery
Beach is busy but big so a lots of space to settle in without bumping into the crowds.Loads of facilities and shops nearby the beach to grab lunch, as there are plenty of food options and bars along the beach front.Shower are available too in case you plan to swim
Will highly recommend this beach to anyone who love the sea

Balmoral Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Balmoral Beach
Balmoral Beach is one of Sydney's best beach choices for relaxation. It provides everything you would want to forget about tumultuous city life, allowing you to de-stress and enjoy effortlessly.
The turquoise water at Balmoral Beach is transparent and calm, the sand is super soft and golden and the vibe is 'chilled with just a little bit of energy'. Balmoral features two beaches, Balmoral Beach and Edward Beach.
They're divided by Rocky Point Island; a pedestrian bridge separates the two sides which leads people out to the peninsula.
