Mattupetty Dam in Kerala is a tranquil escape in the lap of nature. Surrounded by lush hills, this dam offers picturesque views. To reach, take a taxi from Munnar, which is about 13 kilometers away. The serene atmosphere is perfect for a leisurely stroll or boat ride. The dam is a great spot for bird-watching and photography. When I say Munnar, people who love Tea would know about Munnar better than me. I didn’t plan the trip however, it went smoothly. Road trip Trivandrum to Munnar was like around 5 hours drive only. We stayed in Munnar for one night in Munnar and planned to leave to Suryanelli. I will talk about Suryanelli in another post. Best things to do in Munnar is just drive a bike or car in gap road.
