2025 Incheon Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in June)
Incheon is a model commercial port city in South Korea. There is also a very modern and large international airport, making it a hub for transportation. The ocean waters near Incheon are scattered with small islands. Therefore, there is an abundance of marine tourism resources and quality harbor conditions. Products coming in and out of countries around the world pass through here. There is a lively degree of exchange and cooperation with most Chinese cities. You can visit to places such as Incheon’s Chinatown to take a look at historical Sino-Korean architecture, and later pay a visit to the grand Incheon Bridge. Once night falls, the bridge is brightly lit up for an entrancingly beautiful scene. The white sands of Eurwangni Beach near the Incheon International Airport is a nice place for a stroll in the sun. Wolmido Island near Incheon is a favorite weekend destination for many local residents. You can take one of the tourist boats for a ride around the island to see the beautiful scenery surrounding it in all directions.

Travelling to Korea alone!
You can enjoy traveling to Korea even by yourself✨🤍
1. Sky Top Hotel Incheon
This hotel is located in Unseo Station, close to Incheon Airport. The rooms are relatively clean and come with a washing machine and a kitchen. There is no refrigerator, so be careful. The bed is spacious and the TV is large, so you can stay comfortably.
2. Gogo artmake
This is a salon for art makeup located in Gangnam Station. Japanese is available. If you come back within 10 months, it will cost you ₩150,000.
3. Esjun Clinic
I went to Hongdaewon. They will remove moles for ₩4,000 each. If you buy the regenerative tape in advance, you don't have to buy it at the clinic. Japanese is not available.
4. ID Medical Piercing (아이디메디컬피어싱)
A piercing shop in Hongdae. They use anesthetic cream so the pain is minimal. It depends on the area, but I had my tragus and forward helix pierced and it was ₩72,000 including the piercing fee.
5. Bagel Land Hongdae (베이글랜드 홍대점)
A Korean bagel shop. You can take out or eat in, you can order drinks and warm them up in the toaster yourself. I was able to enter easily even by myself.
6. HBAF Almond Store
I went to the first store in Myeongdong. You can buy flavors that are not yet available in Japan and snacks other than almonds. I think the all-in-one pack that contains all flavors is perfect for giving away as souvenirs.
Also, I forgot the name of the store, but you should try the jjukkumi (쭈꾸미) and chimaek (치맥).

📌 Eulwang-ri Ginkgo Tree House
🌳 A charming restaurant with a small forest-like house in front of the sea.
The outside is simple, but when you go inside, a wide yard, a quiet atmosphere, and air full of the scent of the sea welcome you.
🍴 Signature menu: Stir-fried octopus set & seafood pancake
The neatly arranged side dishes and the stir-fried octopus that sticks to your mouth are the best.
Lunch under the shade of a ginkgo tree, a real healing experience.
🏨 Ibis Styles Incheon Airport Hotel
The end of the trip is at a sentimental hotel in the city.
🛋 A neat and modern room,
A leisurely night with sensual lighting.
Breakfast while looking at the Incheon Airport runway adds to the lingering feeling.
🥐 The breakfast buffet is great, and the staff is friendly, so I am 200% satisfied.
🚘 You can conveniently get there by airport limousine or taxi without a car!

Hiking Gyeyangsan
#summervacay If you’re looking for a fun, not-too-crazy hike around Incheon, Gyeyangsan is where it’s at. It’s not super tall or anything, but the views from the top? Totally worth the effort. The trail is pretty friendly, steep in a few spots, sure, but nothing wild, and there are stairs and signs to help you out. You’ll probably run into a bunch of locals doing their daily hike, and the vibe is super relaxed.
On the way up, you get little peeks of the city, and once you hit the top, panoramic views of Incheon, the airport, and even Seoul on a clear day. There are a few resting spots where you can chill, snack, and just take it all in. Bring water, maybe a rice ball or two, and you’re set. Oh, and if you time it right, sunset up there is chef’s kiss. It’s the perfect little escape without going full wilderness. Highly recommend for a laid-back adventure.
Rich Chocolate Soft Serve at Incheon Airport
A hidden gem for chocolate lovers found at Incheon Airport 🍫
It's a chocolate specialty shop called "chocolat palette"!
The bitter and rich chocolate soft serve is absolutely delicious, not overly sweet, making it a perfect treat for adults. Pairing it with churros, which are crispy and go perfectly together, is a must-try 💯
You order through a kiosk, but don't worry—it supports Japanese, so it's easy to navigate ♡
Since it's located at the far end of the airport, it's not crowded at all, making it a true hidden spot!
It's the perfect place to relax a bit before your flight ✈️ Now might be the best time to visit before it gets discovered!

Incheon Free Museum
The National Museum of World Writing, located in Songdo, Incheon, is Korea's first museum dedicated to the study of writing systems, showcasing a wide variety of scripts from around the world. It is recognized as one of the world's top three writing museums, alongside the Champollion Museum of Writing in France and the Chinese Museum of Writing. Since its opening in June 2023, it has garnered significant attention.
The museum spans from the basement level to the second floor above ground. Its permanent exhibition hall features 55 types of scripts, ranging from humanity's earliest cuneiform writing to Egyptian hieroglyphs, Mayan scripts, Hangul, Braille, and more. Visitors can also view rare artifacts such as a cuneiform clay tablet from around 2000 BCE and the Gutenberg 42-line Bible printed in 1454. These invaluable items highlight the development of human civilization and the significance of writing systems.
The children's experience room, "A Journey Through Writing with Kkaebi," is an interactive exhibition designed for children aged 5 to 7. Participation requires prior reservation, and the space allows children to learn the principles of writing through play. Additionally, the museum offers inclusive exhibits with tactile experiences and sign language videos, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their visit.
🇰🇷✈️【Must-visit gourmet spots at Incheon Airport🍜✨】
Before returning home from a trip to Korea, you may feel a little lonely, but Incheon Airport is actually a place where you can enjoy Korea to the very end because it has a wide variety of gourmet food🥹🤍
From standard Korean dishes to popular cafe menus, you'll be surprised at how high the quality is even at an airport✨ Many stores are open early in the morning, so it's recommended to arrive at the airport a little early and enjoy an "airport gourmet tour"🍴
It's a special time to finish off your trip by savoring the taste of Korea once again🌿
If you're planning to go to Korea, be sure to include gourmet time at Incheon Airport in your plans📝💡

The perfect spot for an outdoor date
I recently visited Songdo Central Park while looking for a place to enjoy an outdoor date. With the weather in the mid-20s, it was the perfect day for a stroll and a drive, so I decided to check it out!
The area is surrounded by many cafes, making it a great place to grab a coffee and take a leisurely walk. Since the weather was so nice today, there were also plenty of people having picnics.
📍Songdo Central Park
Address: 160, Convensia-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon
There’s a public parking lot available, and the fee is 2,000 KRW for 30 minutes.
The boat rental area was beautifully decorated with flowers, making it a picturesque spot. While exploring, I even stumbled upon a deer farm with three deer! I had no idea there were animals in Central Park until now.
This place would be great for a picnic with kids as well. I’d love to try the boat ride before the weather gets too hot!

🇰🇷🚌 Travel easily from Incheon Airport to Seoul city by limousine bus ✨
Many people feel uneasy about using public transportation to get from the airport to the city if they are not used to it. 🥺
This time, I have summarized everything about the "limousine bus" that I always use, from how to buy tickets to boarding and disembarking. ✍🏻💡
🛜Limo bus tickets can be easily purchased at the ticket machine at the airport. ✨
I always buy tickets at the ticket machine on the spot after arriving at the destination, but if you have a credit card, it is really smooth and there is no problem! ✊🏻💳
If you are worried about "What if the bus is full...?", it is recommended to make a reservation online in advance. ◎
————————————————————————
📝 Summary of points to note when using the limousine bus! ✅ Never lose the ticket stub you receive when checking in your suitcase! → You will need it when you get off! If you lose it, you might get a scary warning, so be careful 🥹
✅ When the destination is announced, prepare to get off immediately!
→ If you hesitate, you might be told to "hurry up" 🥹
✅ We recommend drinking in a plastic bottle!
→ I don't know if eating and drinking is prohibited on limousine buses, unlike city buses, but bring something with a tightly closed cap so that it doesn't spill! I brought a plastic bottle and no one said anything 🙆🏻♀️
It's great to be able to sit back and relax without worrying about your suitcase 🥹✨
If you're worried about how to get from the airport to your hotel, please consider this as one of your options 🩵
I also share a lot of real experiences and information about traveling to Korea, so if you're interested, please follow me ✈️🫶🏻

[Korea] Recommended hotels to stay at on your first day in Korea!
Just a short walk from the airport!
Paradise City is a luxury spot that attracts travelers from all over the world. It is a one-of-a-kind urban resort where easy access and the extraordinary coexist.
We stayed in a high-floor room with a spacious feel, where we enjoyed a view where the sky and sea blended together.
From the large window, we could see the planes coming and going, the sea stretching out in the distance, and the beautiful gradations of the sunset.
The view, which can be seen at different times of the day, was so beautiful that it made us forget about our daily lives.
In the evening, we had our first casino experience at the hotel's Paradise Casino.
The staff will be happy to assist you so that even first-timers can feel at ease.
There is a full range of entertainment to enjoy, such as slot machines and table games, so you can fully experience adult fun.
The hotel is a fusion of art, gourmet food, relaxation, and casinos, known as "Paradise City."
The amenities include BYREDO, a luxury cosmetic brand popular in both Japan and Korea, which is a nice surprise for women.
To get to the hotel, we recommend taking the free shuttle bus.
Incheon International Airport Terminal 1, 1F 3C Gate.
Departs every hour at 5 and 35 minutes (5:05-23:05), takes about 3 minutes.

🇰🇷🏪6 things to buy at Korean convenience stores✨
6 recommended items that you won't regret buying 🛒✨
Korea is really fun even just at convenience stores, right? ㅎㅎ
You just stop by for a quick visit, but before you know it your basket is full 🥹🥹
Especially the feeling of getting a good deal with "1+1 (One Plus One)"... I'm so happy 🥹💞
My number one recommendation is definitely seaweed!! ㅎㅎ
There are a wide variety, it's crunchy and well-flavored and really delicious ♡
Of course it's delicious to eat as is,
but it's also great to make chumobap (rice balls) or top salads and chilled tofu ✨
I especially recommend it to people who cook!
I regretted not buying more after returning home 😭💔
There are also many types of yogurt,
but my favorite is biyot!
It's fun to compare different things and find your favorite🌷
And since convenience stores are everywhere in Korea,
you can easily buy them between sightseeing, near your hotel, and of course at the airport!
They're also a lifesaver when you forget to buy souvenirs! Be sure to check them out✊🏻🔥
They also have a wide selection of drinks, snacks, and products unique to Korea,
so they're perfect for when you get hungry late at night or for breakfast🍴💕
Be sure to check them out on your next trip to Korea🤍
I hope your trip will be even more enjoyable🇰🇷✈️💫
Look forward to the next post♩

🇰🇷 Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Restaurant Recommendations
#DomesticTravel #Incheon #IncheonAirportRestaurants #IncheonAirport
🇰🇷 Incheon International Airport Terminal 1
I'm introducing a restaurant at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1. I live abroad, so I always pass by Incheon Airport when I come and go to Korea. I'm introducing a restaurant at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 that I recommend as a frequent visitor to Incheon Airport. It's Namsan Wang Donkatsu located on the first basement floor of Incheon International Airport Terminal 1.
During this vacation, while traveling in Korea, I ate at Namsan Wang Donkatsu on the first basement floor of Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 both when I entered and left the country. When I arrived in Korea, I had more than an hour left before my bus, and when I left Korea, I had more than two hours left before my flight, so I ate at the food court on the first basement floor of Terminal 1.
Namsan Wang Donkatsu was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and as the name Wang Donkatsu suggests, the portion was huge, so I was able to eat until I was full. This food court has a variety of options, including not only Donkatsu but also Korean and Chinese food. My group ordered Sundubu Jjigae, which was spicy and delicious.
If you are looking for a good restaurant at Incheon Airport, I highly recommend Namsan Wang Donkatsu!
Incheon Airport Lounge Access ✨
Incheon Airport Lounge is a special space where you can enjoy a special leisure time before your trip✈️
After checking in and completing security, you can enjoy delicious meals and drinks in the lounge to relieve your fatigue before your flight🍽️☕
In particular, Asiana Lounge and Korean Air Lounge are popular for their luxurious atmosphere and diverse buffet menus, and Sky Hub and Martina Lounge are easily accessible as they can be used with PP cards or paid services💳
With spacious seats, a quiet atmosphere, and even shower rooms, it provides the perfect healing time before a long-distance flight🚿🛋️
There are plenty of spaces where you can work on your laptop and power outlets, making it perfect for business travelers! If you have time to arrive at the airport, use the lounge to make your trip more comfortable and special✨

INCHEON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
This airport opened for business on 29 March 2001, to replace the older Gimpo International Airport, which now serves mostly domestic destinations and shuttle flights to several East Asian metropolitan areas, including Beijing–Capital, Kaohsiung, Osaka–Kansai, Shanghai–Hongqiao, Taipei–Songshan and Tokyo–Haneda.
Incheon International Airport is located west of Incheon's city center, on an artificially created piece of land between Yeongjong and Yongyu Islands. A shallow sea originally separated the two islands. That area between the two islands was reclaimed for the construction project, effectively connecting the once-separate Yeongjong and Yongyu islands. The reclaimed area and the two islands are all part of Jung-gu, an administrative district of Incheon. The airport has 111 boarding gates altogether, with 44 in Terminal 1, 30 in Concourse A (connected to Terminal 1), and 37 in Terminal 2.
This airport was constructed to share the demand for air transport in the 21st century and to serve as a hub airport in Northeast Asia.

Meal time at Incheon Airport Lounge
Incheon International Airport is always bustling, but if you arrive early and have some extra time, the airport lounge is highly recommended ✈️
The Matina Lounge, accessible with a Priority Pass, is located in Terminal 1 and is so popular that it can have long queues depending on the timing!
This time, I had a morning flight, so I decided to enjoy breakfast there 🍴
A variety of authentic Korean dishes!
You can savor Korean travel vibes at the lounge with dishes like bibimbap, chicken, tteokbokki, and more.
Additionally, there’s a salad corner packed with fresh vegetables, a bread section for bread lovers, and a wide selection of instant noodles and alcoholic beverages.
For those with a sweet tooth, there are cakes and cookies, making it perfect for a coffee break!
Moreover, there’s a massage area and shower facilities to help you relax and rejuvenate 🚿
Make the most of your time at the airport and enjoy your flight!
[Korea] Airport lounge where you can relax until boarding time ♪
I bought a plane ticket on Trip.com and went to Seoul!
I had added the free VIP lounge access option as a member benefit, so I went to Incheon Airport right away♪
I had heard that Incheon Airport has been quite crowded recently, so I arrived at the airport three hours before.
After completing immigration procedures, I went straight to the lounge!
It's near Gate 251.
There were about 10 people lined up at the entrance to the lounge, but I was able to enter relatively quickly.
You need to show your airline ticket and the QR code for lounge access that you downloaded in advance, so I recommend preparing it while you're waiting in line.
Since it was a weekday, the lounge wasn't that crowded either.
There are various spaces such as sofa seats, counter seats, and family seats, so I look for an empty seat.
I found a single sofa seat, so I secured it and then headed to the buffet food corner.
There were delicious looking dishes and desserts lined up, and the drink corner had not only juice but also Korean beer and wine.
Since it was my last meal in Korea, I put the dishes I was interested in on my plate little by little so I wouldn't regret it.
Of course, there was Korean beer too!
The lounge also had Wi-Fi, so I was able to relax and enjoy watching Netflix dramas until boarding time.
What a great perk to be able to use the lounge for free! Thank you!

Revealing a restaurant that Incheon people keep secret!
#IncheonTravel
I think the number of people choosing Incheon for a nearby trip is increasing.ㅎㅎ I'll introduce you to a secretly visited tripe restaurant that only locals know about, rather than a famous restaurant that has been introduced on various broadcasts.ㅎㅎ This is my nth real restaurant!
Since it comes out grilled, there's no need to grab each other's tongs,
and you just have to eat it deliciously, so it's so clean and nice.🤎
The tripe is delicious, and so is the large intestine, yeomtong, and makchang, so if you order according to your taste, you won't be disappointed.ㅎㅎ

[Korea] Luxury Hokans
We stayed at Paradise City, a popular hotel that just opened near Incheon Airport in Korea.
A complex hotel with a large pool, an amusement park, an art museum, shopping, a casino, and a Korean-style sauna called a jimjilbang.
It has many restaurants that have long lines in Korea, and there are areas that can be enjoyed even on a day trip, so it's recommended to drop in when you have time before your return flight!
It's a very luxurious facility, but the cost performance is good, and we stayed for two people for one night for around 30,000 yen, with a casino coupon worth 10,000 yen and free admission to the jimjilbang and amusement park.
The facilities are so luxurious that one night and two days are not enough! Recommended for girls trips, family trips, and anniversary trips 💐

Incheon, South Korea - Incheon Bupyeong Underground Street
The Bupyeong Underground Mall located at Incheon Bupyeong Station is the largest underground shopping mall in South Korea.
Many Korean locals go shopping here. Besides the prices being cheaper, there are also many stores.
As you exit Bupyeong Station, you will see the shops right at the end of the underground street.
There are so many merchants, no matter what style or age group you can find your favorite styles here, even for men!
There are many shops and competition is fierce in the Bupyeong underground street, so you can buy new clothes at a cheaper price!
In fact, it is an underground mall about 2-3 times the size of the highway bus underground mall.
Take the escalator to the upper floor of the Bupyeong underground street (the first floor), where there is a connected food court with super cheap food.
There are also signs to Lotte Mart, which is on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors.

Go to Incheon Bird's Nest Hotel! Close to the airport, super healing design, you won't want to go back once you stay here
#MarchGoodPlaces2025
If you are planning to travel to South Korea, especially if you are taking an early or late flight, then this Nest Hotel Incheon|Incheon Bird's Nest Rice is definitely worth putting on your itinerary! I have stayed here twice and each time I was amazed. This hotel is a quiet oasis near Incheon Airport.
First of all, the overall design sense is very prominent - extensive use of natural materials and exposed concrete elements. The room is spacious, clean, and has excellent lighting. There is a view from every window. The beds were super comfortable.
Although the hotel is a little far from the city, it is also very quiet. Although you can hear the sound of planes taking off and landing in the rooms facing the sea, it is still relatively peaceful at night! Although the location is a little off the beaten track, if you like an independent and quality accommodation experience, the Bird's Nest Hotel is definitely worth collecting. Reasonable price, complete facilities,

Unbeatable Views! The hotel itself is one of the tallest buildings in Incheon, offering breathtaking views of Central Park from its high floors. The night scenery is so stunning that you won’t want to close the curtains.

Grand Hyatt Incheon is a super family-friendly hotel with a free shuttle bus.
If you are looking for a convenient and comfortable hotel near Incheon Airport, I really recommend Grand Hyatt Incheon without exaggeration!
- First of all, it is very close to Incheon Airport, and there is a free shuttle bus every half an hour, so you don’t have to worry about transit or early morning flights;
- The hotel itself is spacious and clean, the environment is elegant and quiet, and the view outside the window is relaxing. Every stay is like getting away from the hustle and bustle and enjoying a small vacation;
- There is also the Paradise City shopping and entertainment district nearby, where you can visit brand-name stores, dessert shops, and even art galleries. It is perfect for family adventures!
- Most importantly - the service is so warm and friendly that it makes you feel like it's not just a hotel, but a home away from home.
Although it is not the newest hotel, it is a place that people want to come back to again and again. For parents traveling with children, this is definitely a convenient and safe choice. If you want to have a good rest and have a convenient transfer, don't hesitate!
