Here at ABBA the Museum in Stockholm you can learn all about this iconic group. The museum is really fun, with lots of artefacts from the age of ABBA as well as after. You can find original costumes, guitars, cars, sheet music, merchandise and much much more. Throughout the museum you can learn about the band through the many pictures and texts posted throughout, but you can also opt to listen to an audio guide. Getting to the museum is easiest by ferry, just get off near Grona Lund. You can also take a tram which stops right outside the museum. #passionpassport

This time I will introduce a travel guide to Stockholm. Must-see attractions: Old Town (Gamla Stan): This is the historical center of Stockholm, with narrow streets, colorful buildings and a medieval atmosphere. Walking through it, it feels like traveling back in time. The street cafes and handicraft shops are worth visiting. Don't forget to admire the statue of Berggill in the Grand Square. Vasa Museum: The Vasa, the world's only well-preserved 17th-century shipwreck, is on display here. The exquisite decoration of the warship and the tragic story of its sinking are shocking. The exhibits salvaged from the seabed are even more precious. It is a great place to learn about Swedish history. Swedish Royal Palace: Although not as big as the Forbidden City in Beijing, it is exquisite and elegant, full of Nordic style. The underground museum displays gorgeous and rare treasures, but please note that taking photos is not allowed inside. The changing of guard ceremony in front of the Imperial Palace is also worth seeing. Skansen Open Air Museum: One of the oldest open air museums in the world. Here are traditional-style buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries moved from all over Sweden, such as farmhouses, barns, churches, etc., which vividly showcase the folk life of Sweden in the past. There is also a zoo in the museum where you can see animals from the Scandinavian Peninsula Djurgården: Once a royal hunting ground, it is now a great place for entertainment and leisure. There are Nordic Museum, ABBA Museum, etc. on the island. You can also have fun in Grönalund Amusement Park. When you are tired of playing, you can go to the seaside restaurant to enjoy the food and enjoy the sea view.

We spent a lot of time in the museum and learned a lot of interesting things about the orchestra and its history. A series of interactive activities: karaoke, music remixes and stage performances. There is also a film in Swedish with English subtitles, which I really recommend, as it shows the history of the band members from birth. It's worth bringing headphones and turning on the audio guide, Wi-Fi is free. Folding chairs were available throughout the museum, so maybe that's why there were no lines. Even if you are there, it is worth buying your tickets online.

The entrance fee was 250 SEK (about 22 USD), which might seem a bit steep, but trust me, it’s worth every krona. From the moment you step inside, you’re immersed in the world of ABBA. The museum is super interactive, with lots of fun exhibits where you can sing along to ABBA’s greatest hits, try on virtual costumes, and even take the stage with holograms of the band members! One of the highlights for me was the original costumes, which are just as glamorous in person as they look in photos. The museum does a fantastic job of telling the story of ABBA’s rise to fame, with lots of personal memorabilia, videos, and interviews that give you a real sense of the band’s journey. I also loved the re-creations of famous locations like the Polar Studio, where ABBA recorded many of their hits. 🎧 After the museum, I took a stroll around Djurgården, which is a beautiful island filled with other attractions like Skansen and the Vasa Museum, both of which are also worth a visit if you have the time. We flew from Gatwick to Stockholm for a Christmas adventure. Trip.com had a really good deal on tickets to the ABBA museum, so we decided to visit. The digital tickets worked perfectly and the museum had a lot of interesting information and artifacts. I'm not the biggest fan, but my wife and daughter really enjoyed the experience.
