#Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
3 popular buildings in Paris 🗼🏗️🌆
#citywalk
Travelling to Paris, there are 3 world famous buildings that representing the country that you must visit to:
1) Eiffel Tower
- It’s a masterpiece that built on 1889 which is more than hundred years. Nowadays, it is 1 of the most unique and top 1 attractions where the tourists will definitely visit when travelling to Paris. People always say: If you did not visit this place, you never come to Paris! Therefore, please make sure that this place is in your list during the visit. Personally, I will highly recommend you going to Trocadero as you can enjoy the full view of Eiffel Tower while the street artist is performing the romantic songs.
2) Arc de Triomphe
- The building honours those who died for France during the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Honestly I have no idea how to get to the building from the opposite road as it located in the centre of the roundabout and I dint see any pedestrian walkway to cross over. 😅😅
3) Musee de Louvre
- This is the largest museum in the world with the world famous painting - Mona Lisa inside. The entrance is not free of charge so you can either choose to pay for entrance OR take photo outside only. Personally I dint go in due to budget constraint the entire trip, however, i think it is worth to pay a visit and will arrange it next time.

Arc de Triomphe is better at night 🫶🇫🇷
#timetotravel
I have been to paris and visited arc de triomphe before but never did i realised:
NO. 1 it is so much prettier at night
NO. 2 the police would clear the roads for a few minutes (meaning no cars) and allow tourists to snap all the pics they want
NO. 3 there is a flight of stairs down underground that allow you to cross the road and visit the arc de triomphe up close!!!! I would highly recommend you to do so if you are visiting since it is free
NO. 4 the celine triomphe logo is the same as the logo displayed on the chain around the arc de triomphe (see pic 5)
I intended to go up the arc de triomphe but was too late!! Next time I will be back!!

Then, I strolled down the Champs-Élysées, leading me to the magnificent Arc de Triomphe, an awe-inspiring symbol of France's history. Later, I immersed myself in art and culture at the Louvre, exploring masterpieces#freehotelstay #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #awesomepic . The vibrant city atmosphere, charming cafes, and picturesque streets added to the enchantment of the experience. i visited the arc de triomphe paris in 2019 before covid. prior to visiting, i really wanted to visit this landmark as i heard that it is rich in culture and history.
it was rather easy accessing this location. furthermore, you can ride the metro and use google maps to navigate to this place.
the arc de triomphe is really beautiful. you can really see how intricate the french architecture is. you may also pay for a ticket to head up the arc the triomphe where you can have a beautiful view of the city of paris. if you are a student, the admission is free!

My family and I had this area as our second destination. I chose this upscale area mainly for easy accessibility to the train station/stops, good fine dining and generally a quieter space that has wider streets and less traffic.
We chose hotel Le Belmont as it is tucked in a less crowded area, but also conveniently walkable from the points of interest that we were targeting.
I’m just hoping for the tourists to keep their trash because it’s everywhere in Paris or Rome. Very different from Germany.

Woke up at 7am to see this beautiful Arc, unfortunately the weather was terrible so we didn't stay for long! It was worth the early wake up though.

Travel Guide 1| In Paris, there are more than one tower and Arc de Triomphe
. When it comes to Paris, the number of times I go is not enough for 10 fingers. If you feel that you can't play new tricks with the tower and the Arc de Triomphe, it's better. Let's be a local day, come and make some different photos.
How to shoot?
1. The buildings in Paris are full of retro atmosphere, especially in the sunset, we can choose to use side backlight when crossing the road. It is also recommended to set a continuous shutter to capture and increase the color temperature.
2. How can a local person lack the breath of life? You can also use the street supermarket, flower shop, etc. as a background, or interact with flowers and fruits, and the picture will be lively and interesting.
3. When shooting in the street, the choice of clothes should be casual, romantic and fresh. For example, light-colored dresses or silk shirts with light-colored prints or plain t-shirts are also good choices. Of course, I have to match your big smile.
4. Locations can be found in small streets near the Arc de Triomphe, where it is easy to find flower shops and supermarkets, as well as wide streets and retro buildings.
Metisyao.
In addition to the Eiffel Tower, another place in Paris where one must check in is of course the Arc de Triomphe. The full name of the Arc de Triomphe is the Arc de triomphe de l'Étoile (Arch of the Lion’s Triumph), and was built in commemoration of the 1806 victory of Napoleon. 12 of the main streets of Paris converge at the Arc de Triomphe and fan out in all directions. In fact many times when leaving Paris you will pass through this arch, and on circling this huge monument you will be moved.
In addition to being able to view the Arc de Triomphe, it can also be climbed. The top of the Arc de Triomphe is a classic spot for taking pictures of the Eiffel Tower.
If you want to enter the arch, you must enter from Champs-Élysées Avenue or another underground entrance. On the surface there is no way to enter. Tickets cost 12 Euros, and you can also use your Paris Pass. That day was not a day I planned to buy a pass, but on seeing the cloudy sky and being able to see the setting sun, I was stirred to go up.
After buying a ticket, visitors line up before the elevator that goes up. However the elevator only goes to the museum in the Arc de Triomphe, and the visitor still has to climb up several levels. Trust me all of this is worth it.
Under the front gate of the Arc de Triomphe there lies the tomb of the unknown soldier. As a result under the Arc there are often commemorative activities. On the day of my visit I encountered one such activity. When viewing the Eiffel Tower from the Arc de Triomphe, you may also see the surrounding blue roofed and white walled Haussmann buildings, taking pictures of the blue sky and golden road along with the Eiffel Tower at nightfall all add beauty to each other; this is the best of Paris.

The Arc de Triomphe is an amazing historic monument one will not miss when strolling down The Champs-Élysées area, as it is located at one of the busiest roundabouts in Paris at one end of the famous Champs-Élysées.
From the side streets, do not run across the busy roads filled with traffic but make sure you take the underground passage to arrive safely at the arch.
This iconic attraction took 30 years to build and is an architectural wonder. Admiring the Arc de Triomphe from a distance in itself is amazing, not to mention up-close, you won’t be disappointed.
