If you are like me, the most anticipated thing when traveling is to find a quiet and beautiful place like a painting, then this "1 person 1 cup 1인1잔" cafe in Eunpyeong District, Seoul is really not to be missed. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, the view from the cafe not only allows you to see the traditional roofs of Eunpyeong Hanok Village, but also the magnificent Bukhansan Mountain in the distance. I ordered an iced American coffee with a small dessert. It was sweet and not greasy, and it made me feel so happy. 📷 Whether you want to take beautiful photos of Korean houses or just want to find a corner to rest quietly, this place is very suitable. #Seoul Attractions Don't miss this "더피아노" cafe located in the rich area! Walk along the detached houses all the way to the top of the mountain, you can see it. But to tell the truth, its outdoor space is super large, the view is excellent, you can overlook the surrounding beautiful scenery, it is really worth it! Bukhansan national park is a massive area with trails of different difficulty levels. And while you need to be relatively fit to hike up to the mountain tops - it is not necessarily at all to make outing to Bukhasan park exhausting if you not in the mood for a serious hiking day. Lower levels are a beautiful forest area with all sorts of trees with pine trees being my personal favorite. There are numerous Buddhist temples sitting in the midst pf forest to visit. Tip: night hiking is forbidden. Seoul finally starts to show fall colors and ginko trees are changing to yellow and maple trees - to red. It is perfect time for hiking cause weather is chilly but not cold yet, so sweating is tolerable when you walk uphill. Any hike in Seoul is great but for the moment higher places are showing more colors, so Bukhasan National Park is just perfect! Absolutely stunning colorful forest as a reward for 2+ hours hiking uphill. Park is huge with lots of trails from easy to difficult, just choose your level. Bring water and snacks. Bring a jacket cause while it is humid and warm in the forest, it is windy and cold at the tophill. Most hikes can be done in running shoes and no special equipment needed. 🏔️ Bukhansan 🏔️ Have you been to Bukhansan? I think it might be a little rough because it's a mountain made of rocks and not an easy mountain! However, once you get to Bukhansan National Park, you can think that you've almost reached the end!! To add some excitement to our family trip, I proposed the idea of hiking up a moutain. To my pleasant surprise, both my siblings agreed wholeheartedly, and we settled on selecting the nearest and easiest mountain in the vicinity of the city for our climbing adventure. Bukhansan mountain is located in the heart of Seoul and easily accessible by the train. Hiking this mountain was no small feat; it proved to be at least ten times more challenging than hiking Bukit Timah Hill! Despite the steep inclines and rugged trails, we persevered and reached the summit within a span of three hours. Our efforts paid off when we were greeted warmly by the panoramic view from the mountaintop. The breathtaking sight left me in awe! Note: 1. It is important to wear the correct shoes as some areas are steeper. When going down the steep slopes, you may slip without shoes with proper soles. Recommended to get a pair of hiking shoes! 2. Prepare some food and drinks for the hike as there are no convenience store on the way up. 3. Take a few rest stops along the way and enjoy the lush greenery of the park. 4. Don't hike alone if it is your first time! This hike is an excellent escape from the bustling city life! Best destination in Seoul ever!! There are many trails that you can take here and most of the trails lead you to amazing destinations. The effort to reach those destinations is high but the panoramic views are well worth every steps you took. We took the hard trail to go to Baekundae peak and it was tough. First time here and I’m loving the experience! Weather was perfect and there were many locals too! Sadly, we didn’t reach the peak as it was almost sunset. If you are visiting for the first time, it is best to go earlier so that you can take your time to enjoy the view and make it back down before the Sunset! On a side note, I totally knocked out that night and missed my flight the next morning haha. Luckily, I managed to booked another flight on the very same day via Trip.com 🙏 Everything was so easy and the process only took a few minutes! When you go to Bukhansan National Park, you usually go to Baekundae, but instead of Munsubong, I went there! It's a place where you can see various views, and each and every scenery is so beautiful. (•̀ᴗ•́)و 🔻Course🔻 Dokbawi Station-Daho Apartment-Jokduri Peak-Bibong-Samobawi-Seungga Peak-Munsubong-Daenammun-Bukhansanseong Entrance-Gupabal Station⛰ 🏔727m above sea level 💪🏼 Total time required: about 6 hours ✔️This course is difficult!!!! ✔️There are no restrooms along the way!! ✔️Make sure to bring plenty of water!!! ✔️There are many rock ridges, so shoes with good grip are essential!! - When you reach the summit of Munsubong, there is a place that says Munsubong, but in reality, that is not Munsubong, and the peak on the other side is the real Munsubong. It was too dangerous to climb up to Munsubong, so I met someone who had been to Bukhansan 800 times and heard a lot of stories about it. ☺️ It’s not that high at 727m above sea level, but it was a difficult course because the slope was steep and mostly rocks, but it was so fun and the view was so pretty. - Bukhansan is a mountain with many rock ridges. Since there are many steep rock ridges, I don’t recommend it for beginners, but I highly recommend it for people who like hiking! It has a view that beautifully shows the scenery of Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Including this mountain climbing is such a unforgettable experience for me during my trip in Korea. After 4hrs of climbing, I managed to reach the peak. It is quite a challenge as I did not follow a guide for this trip as well. With a coat, tights and gloves, I have a dream. I had the opportunity to hike Bukhansan, the highest mountain in Seoul, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. To get there, I took the subway to Gupabal Station (Line 3), and then transferred to Bus 704 bound for Bukhansan National Park. The bus ride took about 20 minutes, and then I got off at the Bukhansan National Park entrance. The hike itself was challenging, but well worth the effort. It took me about 4 hours to complete the trail, which covered a total distance of around 8.5 kilometers. The first part of the trail was relatively easy, with some steep inclines, but as I got closer to the summit, the trail became steeper and more difficult. However, the stunning views from the summit made all the effort worthwhile. From the top, I could see the entire city of Seoul, and the scenery was simply breathtaking. I also had the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, which was full of natural beauty and peaceful tranquility. Overall, I would highly recommend hiking Bukhansan to anyone who loves the great outdoors and wants to experience the beauty of Seoul from a different perspective. Just be sure to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and be prepared for a challenging but rewarding adventure. #seoul

 Cafe309 posting after a month of visiting. After working hard on a new car over the weekend, I suddenly felt good and went to a cafe for an outing. I found a clean cafe that had just opened. It was relatively quiet because I visited on a weekday afternoon. I brought my laptop and took care of some work. I had to drive there, but it was pretty close to my house. If I have free time on a weekday like this, I think it's a place I'd like to visit again.   It's located at the midpoint of the Bukhansan trail, so if you're following the trail or going hiking, it's a place you'll pass by. It's a place with a quiet and secluded atmosphere because there are a few country houses away from the city center. Eunpyeong-gu is close to the city center, but if you go a little further out, you can often find places like Jinju, so it has many advantages. The building exterior looks rough. But inside, there is a unique interior.  There is a long table at the entrance and lounge, and you can order and pick up coffee and bakery items. I think they also had a wine party during the Christmas season? I always wonder, but if you drink wine in a place where you have to drive like this, how are you supposed to get home.. ㅠ They're just telling you not to come, right?   The soft leather chairs with a vintage feel, and the spacious space. And thanks to the windows that open up on all sides, even complicated minds seem to become more generous and comfortable.   What I thought was really cool was the huge tree hanging upside down from the 3rd floor and decorated. As a traveller, going for adventure is a must! This is Bukhansan which mean mount Bukhan which is located in Seoul. The whole hike takes about 4 hours to the peak.. and at the top, i found a family of cats ❤️.. the local love to sit on a mat and have their snacks right on top. It’s a great experience to learn the local culture and interest. How to get there? #Hiking When there were no hiking shoes or sticks, I climbed wearing only Nike sneakers and was surprised that it was harder than I thought.. For beginners, it seems that you shouldn't choose Bukhansan as your first hiking destination! The purpose of a cafe is not only to sip a cup of coffe but also to chillout and hangout with friends, colleagues and loved ones. This cafe, named Relax cafe located at Bukhansan UI, is the largest cafe I have been in Korea. It vasted a large plot of land by the river valley with excellent view of autumn foliage during autumn. It also has many small huts with different themes, not to mention different decorations of outdoor seats for visitors to have different views of autumn foliages. Although licated far away from the city, this does not stop city dwellers from visiting this wonderful place as a short getaway. Ui-dong Valley entrance of Bukhansan National Park I visited Sanarae, a cafe where you can feel the four seasons~ I heard it was incredibly popular, so I hurried from the morning~ As people raved about, it was so pretty and the fall foliage was crazy~ Even inside the cafe, you can see all of nature, so it didn't feel stuffy~ The signature menu, croffle, was also great. The ice cream was generous, and they didn't skimp on the brown cheese at all~ They put it on generously! Such a perfect weather when I visited! Went bukhansan for the climb but need to go super early as I missed out several buses due to the crowds on Sunday… best if can visit on weekdays! didn’t manage to peak as it’s quite late by the time I reached the mid.. first time wearing hanbok at geongbukgong palace, can get free pass entry! :) too many pretty places and not enough time, Nami island, garden of morning calm, alpaca, temples etc and even taking public buses and exploring all the places r the best! plus kimchi daily ❤️ Must go Seoul ❤️ #lovekorea
