Famous Cake Shop Flagship Store Check-in
Located within the Central Jockey Club, besides the betting station, there are two restaurants upstairs, one of which is the famous foreign cake shop Lady M, one of the few shops that offer dinner and drinks. The place is quite comfortable with sparse crowds on weekday evenings. Although there are not many dinner options, the overall food quality is still quite good. Plus, there are many cute plush horse toys displayed, making it very suitable for young girls and children to check in, offering a completely different vibe from the Jockey Club, which is quite special. If you use coupons in combination, the value for money can be even higher.
Address - 1/F, Hong Kong Jockey Club Betting Station, 10 Stanley Street, Central
Environment/Facilities - Many horse toys for check-in
Feature - The only one inside the Jockey Club in Hong Kong
Average Price per Person - $200/person
Rating - 8.5/10
Life advice, finish this one-day tour route before leaving Hong Kong
As the Spring Festival is approaching, it's time to relax and have fun~
Since Guangzhou is adjacent to Hong Kong, I have walked this route 800 times from childhood to adulthood!
I recommend this most Hong Kong-style one-day citywalk to you~
🚩Itinerary: Monster Building - Methodist House - Central - Sai Ying Pun - Kennedy Town - Temple Street Night Market
🔸Monster Building
This is the Shanhai Building where Transformers was filmed, known as the Monster Building
The old E-shaped architectural structure and the huge building form a visually oppressive dense space
🚄Exit A of Quarry Bay Station (Island Line)
🔸Methodist House
From the pedestrian overpass opposite the building, you can see the Methodist House in the middle of the road forming a symmetrical structure with the environment, which is extremely comfortable for OCD!
🚄Exit A of Admiralty Station (Island Line)
🔸Central
Walking and taking photos in Central, the bustling CBD, the busy crowd, the full-flavored tram, all are showing you the Hong Kong style
Note that the once popular clock machine position is gone, the clock is dismantled, I don't know if it will be installed again~
There are Gage Street, Fringe Club, Immaculate Conception Cathedral, etc. in this area
🚄Exit A of Admiralty Station (Island Line)
·
🔸Sai Ying Pun
If Central is a commercial CBD area, then Sai Ying Pun is a Hong Kong-style fireworks
The wrong street, the near-sea view, gives this place a lot of special visuals
🚄Sai Ying Pun Station (Island Line)
🔸Kennedy Town
At Exit C of Kennedy Town MTR Station, you can find the popular photo spot that combines the elements of the street, tram, ferry, and sea
After taking the photos, walk towards the sea and feel the breeze, it's really comfortable
🚄Exit C of Kennedy Town (Island Line)
🔸Temple Street Night Market
If you need to return to West Kowloon, you can get off at Jordan Station on the way back to West Kowloon, and you can pass by Temple Street Night Market, which is suitable for shopping and eating, and tasting authentic Hong Kong snacks
Temple Street is also decorated with a very festive atmosphere during this period!
🚄Jordan Station (Tsuen Wan Line)
Why didn't anyone tell me before I went to Hong Kong!!!
🥺 I went in a hurry without any strategy, really at a loss! I took many detours and missed many places, this post will help you avoid pitfalls⬇️⬇️
Don't take the bus to cross the sea! It charges based on the distance from the boarding station to the terminal station, the first time I got on the bus it cost me almost 30, it was so expensive!!! The subway is fast and cheap
Wear a pair of comfortable shoes! Most of the time you have to walk, especially in Central + Mong Kok area
The weather is still around 20 degrees, it will be very hot and sunny in the morning, do a good job of sun protection, and wear a jacket at night to prevent catching a cold
The 711 coming out of the airport is unlikely to buy the cheapest and most cost-effective SIM card (the $39 one), it is recommended to directly get a Hong Kong package, you can connect to the internet as soon as you land
If you go to Hong Kong and Macau together, just get a five-day Hong Kong and Macau package, the internet speed is very fast, and it's not expensive!
Octopus is really convenient, in addition to the subway and tram, convenience stores and most restaurants can be swiped!
It is recommended to exchange about 800 cash💰 for two people, it's almost enough, if you have more, you can't use it (you can use it in Macau if you have more)
Jenny's little bear🍪 is very delicious, it still has the taste of childhood, but there is a high probability that you will have to queue up, unless you go very early, it is recommended to buy directly from the official🍑 and send it home, saving time for play, and you don't have to carry it in your hand
Kam Tong😋 roast goose is really really really delicious! It's the light of my Hong Kong, it's very popular, you can call in advance to make a reservation (you can only use a Hong Kong phone number)
I'll add more when I think of it!!!

Complete Guide to Hong Kong Tourism
Hong Kong is a city that is both strange and familiar. It's my first time here, but walking on the streets can evoke memories of Hong Kong movies at any time🎞️
The retro romantic tram🚎, the busy and orderly pedestrians, the dense and modern high-rises, are unique to Hong Kong's retro and prosperity🇭🇰 It's very cinematic no matter how you shoot it🎬
Here are my 9⃣️ favorite spots in Hong Kong, remember to save them~
·
P1📍Bowie Mountain
Here you can enjoy a city night view that is no less than that of Victoria Peak. It's less crowded and off the beaten path. Navigate to "St. Joan of Arc Secondary School" and you can reach the top in 30 minutes.
P2📍Kennedy Town
The end of the road is the sea, wait for a tram🚎 to pass by with a telephoto lens, it's a postcard of Hong Kong. Navigate to the two-story basketball court on the left hand side of Kennedy Town Exit C.
P3📍Winstons coffee
It's just below the Kennedy Town basketball court. The dark-themed HONG KONG sign is great for photos, remember to buy a cup of coffee before shooting.
P4📍Third Street, Sai Ying Pun
It's an uphill section of road, the end of the road is the sea, capture the passing pedestrians and red taxis, it's very Hong Kong~
P5📍Tung Choi Street (Goldfish Street), Mong Kok
Goldfish Street at night really looks like a scene from a Wong Kar-wai movie, the red lights create a great atmosphere~
P6📍Mong Kok Bus
The streets are full of buses, at night under the red and green lights, it's full of Hong Kong flavor~ The spot is on the overpass at "Mong Kok MTR Station Exit B3"
P7📍Central Market
The spot is on the escalator of Central Market, the giant clock and the hurried pedestrians, it's like a frame of a movie🎬
P8📍Gun Club Street
Shoot from the overpass, the road surface full of road signs satisfies all my imaginations of Hong Kong, this is also a spot to shoot the tram.
P9📍Hoi Shan Building (Monster Building)
The densely packed residential buildings are one of my impressions of Hong Kong, shooting the tram and the residential buildings in the same frame, full of the old Hong Kong's market atmosphere.

▪Star Ferry: Named one of the '50 places of a lifetime' by National Geographic Traveler magazine, enjoy the sunshine on the deck, greet the cool sea breeze, you can choose different routes and times, see Victoria Harbour, feel the real Hong Kong from different angles, I took it from the Convention and Exhibition Center, directly to Harbour City
▪Tai Kwun: In addition to M+, this place is also worth visiting! There are super British-style buildings here, and there are concerts on Saturdays, where you can spend a leisurely afternoon
▪Sai Ying Pun: This is a popular check-in spot, the sloping road to the sea + graffiti street, it looks good no matter how you shoot
▪Central Ferris Wheel: Take pictures of the Ferris wheel and the sea, a casual shot is full of Hong Kong flavor

Neon Nocturne: A Tale of Dazzling Nights in Hong Kong's Insomniac Oasis
In the luminous heart of Hong Kong, where skyscrapers pierce the heavens and the streets pulsate with life, I embarked on an exhilarating journey into the city that truly never sleeps. This is the story of "Neon Nocturne," where the day's vibrancy seamlessly transforms into a nocturnal symphony of lights, life, and limitless allure.
As the sun dipped behind the iconic skyline, Hong Kong unveiled its alter ego. The streets, once a bustling kaleidoscope, transformed into an electric dreamscape. Neon signs flickered to life, casting a neon glow that painted the city in hues of emerald, sapphire, and ruby. The night belonged to Hong Kong, and its luminous charm was nothing short of mesmerizing.
Venturing into Lan Kwai Fong, the epicenter of Hong Kong's nightlife, I found myself at the gateway to a carnival of indulgence. Music spilled onto the streets, mingling with laughter and the clinking of glasses. The vibrant energy of the crowd, a melting pot of cultures and aspirations, was infectious. Neon lights reflected in the eyes of those who reveled in the city's insomniac heartbeat.
Amidst the kaleidoscope of lights, I realized that Hong Kong was more than a city; it was a sensory overload, a realm where the pursuit of pleasure knew no bounds. Lavish shopping districts beckoned, their glimmering storefronts promising a journey into the lap of luxury. Whether perusing the high-end boutiques of Central or navigating the bustling markets of Mong Kok, Hong Kong's consumerist spirit was omnipresent.
As the night unfolded, the skyscrapers became pillars of light, and the harbor became a canvas for a symphony of illuminated ships. From the peak of Victoria, the city glittered below like a galaxy of dreams. In this neon-lit paradise, I embraced the intoxicating blend of opulence and exuberance, discovering that Hong Kong's nights weren't just sleepless; they were a spectacle of indulgence and unbridled allure. #NeonNocturne #InsomniacOasis #HongKongNights

Impressive Coffee Place in the heart of HK
#timetotravel
Walked pass IFC- a shopping mall in Central - and my senses were immediately caught by the aroma and shininess of this new coffee place - Bacha Coffee! Unlike most coffee shops that offer the chill and relaxed vibe, this place is out to grab your attention with its gold and glitz.
The pastry showcases at the shop front displayed various delicious looking croissants while the walls inside highlighted numerous exotic coffee flavors from around the world. Every corner of the shop was simply calling out for a photo opportunity!
We selected a Cuban coffee and a crème brûlée croissant from its extensive coffee menu. after a 5 minutes wait, our order was ready for pickup. The coffee was served with a small container of fresh cream and a sugar crystal stick - presented on a beautiful paper tray. The croissant, on the other hand, was packed inside a colorful paper bag with handle that was perfect for takeaway!
We thought that the quality was well worth its price. All in all, this is a coffee place worth checking out while in Central!

The heart of cosmopolitan HK, Central
Central is the beating heart of Hong Kong and home to some of it’s most cosmopolitan streets and hubs, located on the south side of Victoria harbour the area is easily accessible by bus, taxi, ferry and of course central metro station.
The area is famous for it’s cafes, restaurants and shopping along with its iconic steep streets and escalator system. You can take the escalators up the alley ways to cut between main streets, keeping an eye out for smaller independent places on the way up.
I love the area for it’s choices of coffee shops and patisseries, no matter what type or coffee you like you will find something for you. There are lots of quick places for on the go coffee, smaller places to sit for some snacks and more up market cafes with seating for longer if you’re planning some work or want to kill some time reading.
As you work your way towards admiralty you will find some of central’s more famous landmarks, including the iconic bank of china tower, HSBC building and the court of final appeal.
If you have a short amount of time in HK and want to check out an area that sums up what the city has to offer, Central is the place to be!

Central Hong Kong 🇭🇰
Central also Central District is the central business district of Hong Kong.
The neighborhood is known for nightlife, with raucous pubs and nightclubs in Lan Kwai Fong, and wine bars and trendy restaurant. Away from the bustle, are Hong Kong Park and the Zoological and Botanical Gardens.
Getting from Hong Kong Airport to Central is very straightforward. The most direct way is to take the Airport Express (teal line) to Hong Kong Station (24 minutes).
Playful and Flithily dirty Cantonese slang painting
Sik6 Ngaang6 Nei5 食硬你
So Cantonese! A series of paintings about food-related Cantonese slangs – time to test your level lol.
That is not the only cultural element, the cult part also lies on the filthily dirty (鹹濕) drawings, highlighted by the colourful and contrasting colours. The cartoon characters and the rainbow outside give a sense of gay feeling as well.
The experience is Fun fun Fun! Go and visit before the exhibition ends at July 23.

Fancy and sophisticated Indian cuisine in Central, Hong Kong
Located in the lively Central, Chaiwala is hidden under the basement, the appearance of a mysterious red gate, pushed into the interior is full of Indian culture, from the elements of the furnishings, such as traditional handicraft decorations, classic art paintings, ceramic furniture, etc., not only to give a perfect Indian space experience, but also to convey this beautiful exotic feeling to Hong Kong locals.
It was our anniversary, and at the end of the meal, the waiter came by and gave us some traditional Indian costumes to put on. It was so sweet that he helped us to take a Polaroid photo and a $100 coupon as a gift, by serving us a small piece of dessert as well. We really enjoy the vibe, the food and the hospitality of the restaurant. Highly recommend it as a great night for dating, celebrating or reunion!

Geometric design in Central
Are you new to HK? Want to find some new ideas for city life photography?
Here are two common meeting points in Central with geometric design:
- Landmark atrium
There are occasion booths or activities at the atrium of Landmark, thus it is not always the same.
- Central Tower 中滙大廈 (not Central Building)
The black and white checkered floor gives a retro feeling.
Starting from IFC near the pier to the Entertainment Building in the center of Central, the commercial buildings and shopping malls are well covered and linked with bridges.
You don't have to worry if there is rainstorm or typhoon. Enjoy the convenience of HK :)
High Class | Fine Dining
The restaurant is located in the SoHo area of Central. It specializes in 🇮🇹 Italian-style Fine Dining. Each dish is thoughtfully designed and every course is served with new utensils 🍴, even the steak knives can be chosen by the diners themselves. The whole dining experience is filled with a sense of ceremony and the dishes are exquisitely delicate. The elegant decor of the restaurant complements the experience, making the entire meal process enjoyable. Highly recommended 👍🏼.
-𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐮- $1,180/person
The appetizer is quite rich. First, champagne is served as a welcome drink. Then, the waiter presents three kinds of black vinegar, which are 12 years, 25 years, and 50 years old, respectively. Each kind is served with cheese, and the taste is sweet and sour. The pre-dinner bread is crispy and fragrant, and the olive oil is perfect 👍. Finally, a cup of sea urchin black truffle caviar stewed egg is served. It is soft, smooth, and full of freshness.
-𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫-
დ 1 kg French Clam Saute Pot
The clams are all plump and juicy, and there is no sand at all. The chef stir-fries them with white wine, garlic, and olive oil. The clams are covered in sauce, which is very delicious. The crispy bread is a perfect match. It has a unique flavor.
დ Spanish Blue Fin Tuna Tartare
The presentation of the Tuna Tartare is beautiful. The tuna is delicate and fresh, with a fragrant fish flavor. A little lemon juice makes it even fresher. It feels very refreshing 👅.
-𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚-
დ Spaghetti with Japanese Sea Urchin and Caviar
This pasta is made with luxurious ingredients, including Japanese sea urchin and caviar 😍. Both are mixed with cream to make the sauce for the pasta. Each strand of spaghetti is coated with the sauce, and the texture is perfect. It is smooth and chewy 🤩.

დ 350g Fassona Beef Grilled Tenderloin
Fassona Beef is one of the three best beef in the world. It is rich and firm, with a relatively low fat content. We chose medium doneness, and it was served on a hot iron plate, with four special sauces! The beef is thick, tender, and has a rich beef flavor. It is of high quality.

Hong Kong travelogue: Romantic park hidden in the city center.
What comes to mind when you think of Central?
The white-collar workers in suits and leather shoes hurry to work.
Still bustling shopping malls and towering office buildings?
Actually, Central has a romantic and comfortable side besides its fast pace - Hong Kong Park, where flowers, greenery, and waterfalls intertwine.
Hong Kong Park is located near the MTR Central Station/Admiralty Station. Follow the signs after exiting the station to find it.
Nearby, there are popular attractions such as the Tai Ping Shan Cable Car, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, and many filming locations for TVB legal dramas. The High Court can be conveniently included in the itinerary for sightseeing.
In the garden, the most common flowers are hydrangeas with colorful blooms that can be seen almost everywhere. Waterfalls cascade down from the artificial mountain and converge into a large pond.
In the pond, there are many fish and crows basking in the sun in groups on the slate.
Not many tourists, some teachers brought children for a spring outing visit.
At lunchtime, many employees came to sit on the benches for a short rest.
Next time you come to Central, come and take a stroll in this small park too.
Simple Shabu-Shabu for dinner in Spring
Yosinoya, Japanese restaurant is quite popular in Asia. One of my favourite dishes at this restaurant is shabu-shabu. It is not served on all occasions but you can still have it in spring. I came to the branch in Central Hong Kong and enjoy a simple shabu-shabu at affordable price.
The restaurant is spacious, located near by the Central MTR exit A. It is less than five-minute walk.

🌈 Service
⭐️ The staff at Green Waffle Diner were attentive, friendly but one of the staff isn’t very knowledgeable about the menu and that’s ok 👌🏻 Didn’t border much
⭐️ The manager and one of the staff were speaking other language in front of the customer while the customer were questioning about the bill.

Historical Building in the Central of Hong Kong
This fascinating building, Standard Chartered Bank building, is facing to the Vitoria Harbour on the Des Vœux Road, Central, Hong Kong.
The building is dated back to 1859. The flight of white marble stairs in front is leading to the main entrance of the building.
The lobby was beautifully constructed with super high ceiling, followed by another short flight of stairs to another level.
Amazingly on the right, there are two standing giant bronze sculptures in black . One is the Right Honorary James Wilson (1805-1860) and the other, Mr John Paterson (1822-1880). Both were significant founders of the bank.
More over, there are two visibly, brightly stained glass windows (L10m x W2.5m) exhibited on the wall reflecting Hong Kong in the past and present.
For the past from top, Bird cage, Bamboos, Neon Light Signs, Sampan, Tram and Rickshaw.
For the present from top, Aeroplane, Computer, High Rise Buildings, the Bank Building and the Mass Transit Railway.
It’s well worth to take a visit and learn more.
