Because we flew to Taipei in the evening, and considering that there would be no airport MRT to Taipei in the early morning, we chose to stay in Taoyuan Aviation Hotel, a city hotel closer to Taoyuan Airport. The main advantage of this hotel is that it is very close to Taoyuan Airport. If you take the Taoyuan MRT during the day, it only takes two stops from the airport's second terminal to reach Dayuan Station. After exiting the station, it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the hotel. However, if you are carrying luggage, it is recommended that you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, which is more convenient. The journey takes about 10 minutes and the fare is only about NT$200. Because this hotel is a business hotel, there are no entertainment facilities, but the room environment is clean and comfortable, there are sofas to sit in the hotel lobby, and there is also a rich buffet breakfast. Overall, the experience is quite good. Because the night flight to Taiwan, we found the city business hotel (aviation hall) very close to the airport, taxis do not take ten minutes to get there. Once arrived, there was indeed a sense of age, check in went smoothly, the room should have been renovated, as it is a windowless room, the lighting is relatively dim. The amount of bath water is ok, the only flaw is the hair dryer, the old style requires a long press to blow, once you let go of it. The room soundproofing is average, but overall it's okay, next time if in a hurry, or will stay again!

The hotel is located just 5 minutes by taxi from the airport, making it a very convenient choice for travelers. In particular, it is cheap, includes breakfast, and is ideally located for frequent flyers. However, the hotel is located next to the highway, so noise may be a problem. (Windows are always locked if they have key locks.) Also, the hotel's air conditioning is somewhat weak, which may be uncomfortable on hot, humid days in Taiwan. Also, the building looks older than expected and can shake quite a bit during an earthquake (there were many aftershocks until the morning of the 6.6 earthquake on the day of arrival). Despite these drawbacks, it is still an attractive choice for travelers who value convenience.
