From Kuala Lumpur, take a flight to Kota Bharu, then take a bus or taxi to Kuala Terengganu Jetty, and finally take a speedboat or ferry to the Perhentian Islands! Be sure to check the time of the last boat, or you'll have to charter a private speedboat, which is expensive! 😭 🏠 There are many accommodation options on the islands. The big island is quiet, while the small island is lively, so you can choose according to your preferences! I stayed at Coral View Resort, which is right on the beach. It was super relaxing, and the food was great too! 😋 🏊‍♀️ There are also plenty of activities on the Perhentian Islands, including snorkeling, diving, and hiking, so you can enjoy the fun of the islands! The half-day snorkeling tour is perfect for beginners, and you can see beautiful coral, turtles, and all kinds of fish. The boatman will also provide equipment! Diving is more difficult for beginners, so be sure to stay safe! For hiking, the abandoned seaside boardwalk on the small island is beautiful and perfect for photos! 📷 💼 Before you go, be sure to prepare your daily necessities, protect the environment, and take sun protection measures!

#hotelreview We had a pleasant stay at the Coral View Island Resort on Pulau Perhentian Besar. Our 2 Seaview Room Private Pool package offered stunning views and a comfortable living space. The resort's location was excellent, and the private pool was a highlight. Check-in was smooth, and the rooms were cozy. We enjoyed the public pool and mini waterpark, and the resort's cafe served delicious food at reasonable prices. While our trip was enjoyable, the journey to the resort was challenging due to rough seas and a long jetty walk. Despite this, we appreciated the resort's amenities and services. Our experience was overall positive, and we would consider returning & it is a great option for those seeking a relaxing island getaway.
