The Doge’s Palace of Italia
The Doge's Palace was originally the building that served as the general director and government office of the Republic of Venice.
Currently, the interior is used as an art museum, and it is also the venue for the famous Venice Film Festival. There are many things to see, such as the Golden Staircase and the Lion's Mouth, but the one you must see is Tintoretto's "Paradise." This work, painted on the entire wall of the Great Council Hall, is known as the largest oil painting in the world.
While the interior appears to be a glittering building decorated with gorgeous works of art, it also functioned as a prison. A highlight is the bridge connecting the interrogation room and the cell, commonly known as the Bridge of Sighs.
It got its name from the fact that prisoners would sigh at the sight of Venice at the end of their stay. Inside the prison, the "dark side" gradually becomes apparent, with windowless stone rooms with sturdy doors and writings left by prisoners on the walls. It is a valuable building where you can feel the light and darkness of that time.

🌟Highlights:
The Doge's Palace is right in front of St. Mark's Square, which is always full of pigeons🐦, making it a great place for photos.
The palace architecture is very beautiful, a large part of it is a prison, walking through the narrow paths is very interesting.

My visit to the Doge's Palace in Venice was an enchanting step into the republic's golden age. Nestled on St. Mark's Square, this majestic palace greeted me with its Gothic architecture and historical significance. As I crossed the iconic Bridge of Sighs and stepped into the opulent chambers, a sense of awe surrounded me. The ornate artworks and the grandeur of the Council Chamber were mesmerizing. Gazing out over the lagoon from the palace's balconies offered breathtaking vistas. The Doge's Palace's central location and its role in Venetian history made it a cultural treasure. It wasn't just a palace; it was a window into Venice's political past and a celebration of the artistry that flourished within its walls, leaving me captivated by its allure and historical legacy.

Barroco
The Venetian Governor's Office was first built in the 9th century. It can be preserved no matter how time is spent. Its medieval Roman style has been preserved intact, and the beautiful murals, paintings and sculptures in the dusty history are also necessary to go to Venice. Its no wonder that the poet Byron would praise it as a huge and extravagant palace.
